The Perfect Layout - A July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card Idea - Stampin' Up!

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. Today I am sharing another beautiful Alternate Card Ideas you can make with supplies from the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sweeter With You.

The cards in this kit are so fun and bright with strawberry die cuts and fun patterns.  The kit includes everything you need to make 8 cards, 2 in 4 different designs.

For my sixth alternative I am using one of my favorite layouts when combining pattern papers. I love how stacking the designs one on top of the other with a simple stripe of color in the center can bring any two patterns together. I also love the touch that vellum brings to this card.

Thick Basic White Cardstock – 4 ¼” x 11” scored at 5 ½”

Green Cardbase (kit) – 4” x 5 ¼”

Strawberry Cardbase (kit) – 3-1/8” x 2-1/2”

Pink Dots Cardbase (kit) – ¼” strip leftover

Vellum Scallop Piece (kit)

Blue Stripe Piece (kit)

Large Light Pink Strawberry Die Cut

Sequins if you want

 

1- Make sure to use the Cutting Guide (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tkw0xnEZqQ0MfOrVRrz8lxn8lG_DphZL/view?usp=drive_link) to cut your pattern paper to the right size from the cardbases in the kit.

2- Add the Strawberry Cardbase piece at the top of the Scallop Vellum piece. Add the Blue Stripe piece at the bottom, if you need to overlap slightly that is okay. You want to have a small border of scallops showing along the outside edge of the two pieces.

3- Add the ¼” strip leftover from the Pink Dots Cardbase to the center between the two pattern pieces and trim to match the sides. Don’t cut the Vellum.

4- Randomly stamp on the Green Cardbase piece your flower images with Garden Green ink. I kept the images to the outside edges since that is what we will be seeing. You can stamp both at the same time by adding both of them to a clear block.

5- Adhere the Green piece to the center of the White Cardbase. Then add the Vellum with Pattern Paper to the center with dimensionals.

6- Stamp your greeting in Garden Green ink in the center of the Light Pink Strawberry Die Cut. Add it with dimensionals to the center of the pattern pieces.

7- Add 3-5 White Sequins.

All Done!
