Life Is Sweeter With YOU - Another Cute Cut Alternative Card using the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. Today I am sharing another beautiful Alternate Card Ideas you can make with supplies from the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sweeter With You.

The cards in this kit are so fun and bright with strawberry die cuts and fun patterns.  The kit includes everything you need to make 8 cards, 2 in 4 different designs.

For my eighth alternative I creating another Cute Cut Card layout along with the cute strawberry pattern. I love how this cute cut adds pattern to the front and inside of the card.

Thick Basic White Cardstock – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Green Cardbase (kit) – 1” x 5 ¼”

Strawberry Cardbase (kit) – 3 ¼” x 5 ¼”

Basic White Cardstock – 2” x 3 ¼”

Linen Thread – 17”

Vellum Rectangle Piece (kit)

One Strawberry Die Cut (kit)

Three Flower Die Cut (kit)

 

1- Make sure to use the Cutting Guide (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tkw0xnEZqQ0MfOrVRrz8lxn8lG_DphZL/view?usp=drive_link) to cut your pattern paper to the right size from the cardbases in the kit.

2- Cut the front left side of the cardbase at ¾”. This is our Cute Cut Layout.

3- Add the Strawberry Pattern piece to the front of the cardbase. Add the Green Pattern to the inside on the right, so you see it when the card is open & closed. Both should have about 1/8” border along the outside edges.

4- Stamp your greeting in Garden Green ink near the top of the White piece. Add this to the center of the Vellum Rectangle from the kit. Add everything to the center of the Strawberry pattern with dimensionals.

5- Wrap 17” of Linen Thread around your hand and adhere to the bottom area of the White piece. You can tack it down with some small glue dots if you want.

6- Add one Strawberry Die Cut with dimensionals over the Linen Thread. This will also help hold the thread in place.

7- Add three Flower Die Cuts with dimensionals around the greeting & strawberry.
