TIP & TRICKS – Make sure to watch the video below to learn my tips and tricks for using the stencils.

Use Washi Tape to hold the cardstock and stencils down so they don’t more as you apply the ink.

Cut the Stampin’ Sponge into 6 wedges, apply ink with the curved side of the wedge.

1- On the Shimmery White Cardstock add stars to 1 ½” at the top with the Star Stencil and Pretty Peacock ink & Stampin’ Sponge.

2- Slip the top of the Cardstock into the negative space at the top of the Cloud Stencil. Then add Balmy Blue above the white clouds with the Stampin’ Sponge. Remove stencil and slip the Cardstock through the bottom negative space to add Balmy Blue clouds under the white clouds, blend the color into the middle of the cardstock slightly.

3- Slip the Cardstock through the bottom Mountain Range Stencil about mid-section and add Rich Razzleberry ink with a new Stampin’ Sponge section. Blend the color down about ¾”. Remove stencil and add the details with Blackberry Bliss ink. Add the second mountain range by using the middle stencil and Merry Merlot ink. Don’t slip the cardstock through, this will create a nice horizontal link under the mountain.

4- Slip the cardstock through the top negative mountain space and line up the mountain range, hold down with washi tape. Add the Sunray Stencil on top and add Bumblebee ink with a new Stampin’ Sponge Section. Make sure to stay away for the sharp edges at the ends of each ray.

5- Stamp the Pinetree image in Mossy Meadow in the bottom left corner. Use multi-generation stamping (don’t reink then stamp again) to create depth. Repeat as many times as you would like.

6- Add Just Jade ink with a new Stampin’ Sponge Section to the bottom right corner and blend up to the mountains and behind the trees.

7- Tie 16” of Linen Thread around the bottom of the cardstock and tie a bow about 1” from the right side.

8- Stamp the birds in the sky with Calypso Coral. Stamp the greeting on the small label with Calypso Coral. Add the greeting above the Linen Thread with dimensionals.

9- Cut the Kraft Envelope to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. Adhere to the cardbase. Add the Outdoor Scene to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals.

All Done!

From the Kit:

Multicolor Block Envelope Insert

Pretty Peacock Cardbase (1/2)

Sunrise Cardbase

16” Linen Thread

Extra Cardstock:

Thick Basic White Cardstock – Cardbase 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Basic White Cardstock – 2 ½” x 2 ½” stamping

Here is a list of the supplies I used to make the cards:

Thick Basic White Cardstock 159229 $8.25

Basic White Cardstock 159276 $9.75

Mossy Meadow Ink Pad 147111 $7.50

VersaMark Ink Pad102283 $9.50

White Embossing Powder 109130 $6.00

Heat Tool 129053 $30.00

Paper Trimmer 152392 $25.00

Simply Shammy 147042 $8.00

Stampin’ Seal Adhesive 152813 $8.00

Multipurpose Liquid Glue 110755 $4.00

Tear & Tape Adhesive 138995 $7.00

Dimensionals 104430 $4.00

Clear Block D 118485 $8.50

Bone Folder 102300 $7.00

Stampin' Pierce Mat 126199 $5.00

Take Your Pick Tool 144107 $10.00

1- Cut the Mulitcolor Block Envelope Insert down to 4” x 5 ¼”. Adhere to the front of the Thick Basic White Cardbase.

Cut the Pretty Peacock Cardbase in half (if you haven’t already done so for my first alternative idea). Then trim it to 4” x 3 ½”.

Trim the Sunrise Cardbase in half along the score line, then remove the top and bottom pieces and then the sides, so you have only the sunrise piece. Finished size is about 3 ¼” x 3”. Fussy cut along the Mountain.

2- Add the top sunrise piece to the Pretty Peacock so there is an even border along the sides and top. Add the Mountain range with glue dots on the bottom and dimensionals on the top. When adding to the Pretty Peacock piece, overlap the Mountain range just slightly on the Sunrise piece and line up the sides.

3- Stamp the Pinetree image in Mossy Meadow and fussy cut out. Add to the bottom right corner of the Mountain range with glue dots on the bottom and dimensionals on the top.

4- Stamp the “Journey” greeting in VersaMark on the bottom of the Pretty Peacock piece. Add white embossing powder and heat set.

5- Tie 16” of Linen Thread between the greeting and image with the bow on the left side. Add the Pretty Peacock piece to your card with about 1" on the left side. Stamp “Here’s to You!” in Calypso Coral on one of the ½” x 3” Petal Pink side pieces from cutting out the sunrise. Add over the Linen Thread with dimensionals.

All Done!

1- Stamp just the top half of the Wild Roses Background Stamp in Blushing Bride on one side of the 5 ½” x 8 ½”. I like to use the Stamparatus so I can get a solid image. Fussy cut out the large white flower and the solid flower next to it.

2- Rotate the paper and stamp the whole Wile Roses Background Stamp in Blackberry Bliss on the other half. Trim to 4” x 5 ¼”.

3- On the remaining white cardstock stamp your greeting. I used the Thinking of You from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set. Punch out with the Everyday Label Punch.

4- With a Blending Brush add some Blushing Bride Ink on the Wild Roses piece.

5- Layer the Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, then the Wild Roses piece, and last the Vellum in the center of the cardbase.

6- Behind the Label add 11” of Ribbon in a “Z” shape. If you want twist the ends so the gold side is showing. Add dimensionals to the back – remove the paper backing.

7- Add the white flower to the top left corner behind the label. Add the solid flower in the bottom right corner. Trim off the leaves from the hexagon Gold Laser-Cut paper and adhere one behind each flower. Add this element to the center of the card just above middle.

8- Add three Opal Rounds.

All Done!
