Amazing Birthday - Make Today Ridiculously Amazing Card

I love the fun colors and textures of this card. It is a perfect card for a birthday or any celebration like graduation. Instead of using the Stampin' Write Markers and coloring the stamp in different colors. I just stamped the whole image 3 different times in 3 different colors and then cut out the shapes. This means I could make 3 cards each with different combinations of colors. So fun!

Amazing Birthday - It's For You card

I didn't want to only make birthday cards with this fun stamp set. I love how this card is so verstaile, it could be for a birthday, thank you, female, or male. I love all the textures and colors. I added a little sponging to each layer to bring out texture and add depth. I love the starburst framelits, they just add a little extra something instead of using just circles.

Amazing Birthday - Happy Happy Birthday Card

http://www.pinterest.com/jentimko/2014-stampin-up-convention-display-stampers/

We are continuing on with the samples I created for Stampin' Up's Inspire, Create, Share 2014 Display Boards. The second stamp set is called Amazing Birthday.

This is a great stamp set for birthdays or any amazing day you want to celebrate.

Click here for more information or to purchase.

I love the "Make Today Ridiculously Amazing" Stamp. Many of the samples I made and saw at convention used it in so many different ways. Think about cutting it up and using just the word "Today" or "Amazing" so many possibilities.

Here is the first card I want to show you. I love the Decorative Masks especially the Hearts & Stars. It is a little tricky to figure out, especially when using the spritzers so do some tests on scraps before spraying your project :) It gives such a wonderful effect to the background. I just love it.

Kinda Eclectic - Treat Box

Well this is my favorite project I made from the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set. I just love it. Now don't be fooled this is not a quick and easy project.... but if your wanting to give someone something extra special and know that they are going to keep it and not throw it away then this one is for you.

How I made the flower: There are six layers to the flower and I stamped on both the front and the back of each layer. The front in Crisp Cantaloupe and the back in Strawberry Slush. After stamping the front I cut it out using the Starburst Framelits Die starting with a larger size for the bottom layers and getting smaller for the top layers. Then I stamped using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to align the stamp on the back. Then take your scissors/snips and cut in between each line creating a petal. Then using your bone folder curl the layers. To add height to the flower I attached each layer with Dimensionals. Then add your center accessory.

Oh, how I love it!

Kinda Eclectic - Scrapbook Layout

A smile! Isn't a smile the simplest act of kindness that we all can do, all the time? I love this precious little girl and her smile always lights up my day!

This page was really fun to create. I love the design element and how the Blackberry Bliss helps the other colors, especially the gold, pop. I also used a Stampin' Write Marker in Blushing Bride to color in some of the larger flowers from the Park Lane Designer Series Paper.

Kinda Eclectic - Thank you masculine card

Do you ever need a thank you card for someone of the male gender? I have such a hard time making something I love and want to give but isn't specific for women. I think this card is a good fit. My husband is always doing nice things for me and I love being able to say more than just thank you to his face. A simple card with a heartfelt note really means something to both of us. What simple things mean a lot to you?

Kinda Eclectic - Thank you card with Gold Fringe...

This is a really fun card. A couple of my cards are really strong in earth tones. The new in colors have a beautiful earthy feel to them. Especially the Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon. My favorite element is the gold scallop edge that has been textured with the fringe scissors...yes... the fringe scissors.

Kinda Eclectic - Flower Thank you card

I love this card. Don't you think the starburst works perfectly in this flower punch?
Such a simple card, but so beautiful. I also love the texture that the polka dots give the background.

Kinda Eclectic - "Sunny Day" Thank you card

Today I want to show another beautiful thank you card made from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. I think it feels like a warm sunny summer day. I love how the sunburst fills the decorative label shape and the two tone leaves intertwine with one another. Almost looks like the weeds that are growing in my garden... :)

Kinda Eclectic - Thank you card

http://www.pinterest.com/jentimko/2014-stampin-up-convention-display-stampers/
I am so grateful for the opportunity to make display board samples for Stampin' Up Convention this year. We were able to create eight samples with three different stamp sets. Over the next couple weeks I will be showing one sample each day. How fun!

http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=135350My favorite stamp set I received was Kinda Eclectic. I loved playing around with the fun design elements and found that it is such a versatile set. Here is the set in all it's 6 stamp glory.

Click here for more information or to purchase.

Don't you love that starburst and the polka dots! Make sure to come back each day to see all the fun ways I was able to use these elements.
I also love the saying "A little kindness goes a long way". It is so true, whenever I have been the recipient of even a little bit of kindness my whole day seems brighter.

Well enough waiting. Here is the beautiful card I made. There are so many elements I love about this card. The simple strawberry slush and crisp cantaloupe touches along with the monochromatic blues really give it a pop.

I hope that this card as well as the next 23 samples will inspire you to create.
Also I have pinned this sample to an awesome board of all the display board samples made by other truly talented demonstrators. Click here or on the above icon to see for yourself.
 Have a creative day!

June's Paper Pumpkin

This month's Paper Pumpkin is all sorts of fun. Check out the project and all the goodies in this video

I love the pinwheels, but didn't really need all of them and wanted to make an alternative project with some of them. Here is what I came up with. I have this adorable old window in my entry and love to hang themed banners for the holidays.

Thanks for stopping by...hope you enjoy.
Have a creative day!
