1- Stamp the fireflies or lanterns and string in Misty Moonlight randomly on the Whisper White cardstock.

2- Cut out a label from the Tasteful Label Dies. Stamp the greeting in Misty Moonlight on the label.

3- Stamp the fireworks image over the “blinky” part of the fireflies or near the bottom of the lanterns in Bumblebee ink.

4- Use the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend and color around the center of the firefly. On the lanterns color the outline with the Light Pool Party and the bottom with Light Daffodil Delight. Then blend everything with the Color Lifter to create a glass look.

5- Stamp the “blinky” part of the firefly with Bumblebee ink. Or stamp the same image at the bottom of the lantern to look like a flame.

6- Add the ½” strip of Designer Series Paper to one side of the cardbase, leave about 1/8” on one side. Add the stamped cardstock by overlapping the DSP slightly, leave about 1/8” of the other side of the card.

7- Adhere 10” of ribbon to the back of the label. Trim the ends at an angle. Add to an open area with dimensionals.

8- Color 3 rhinestones with a Dark Daffodil Delight Blend marker and add them to your card.

Alternative Card Idea using the envelopes from the July Paper Pumpkin Summer Night Add-On Kit

Today I have another alternative handmade card using the envelopes from the 2020 July Paper Pumpkin – Summer Nights ADD-ON KIT. For these cards I wanted to use both the gold foil edging on the front and the pattern paper on the inside. By creating a frame around the gold foil you can use both pieces. I love creating alternative cards with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more videos as I continue to create with this month’s kit. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! Here are the dimensions and pieces you will need to create these cards:
From the SUMMER NIGHTS ADD-ON KIT:
Any Envelope

Extra Cardstock:
Coordinating Cardstock card base 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” (Calypso Coral, Blackberry Bliss, Coastal Cabana)
Whisper White Cardstock ¾” x 3” | Scrap paper for stamping
Gold Foil Sheet 2 ½” x 1 ¾”

Here is a list of the supplies I used to make the cards:
Lovely You Stamp Set 152525 $24.00
Calypso Coral Cardstock 122925 $8.75
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock 133675 $8.75
Coastal Cabana Cardstock 131297 $8.75
Whisper White Cardstock 100730 $9.75
Gold Foil Sheet 132622 $5.00
Calypso Coral Ink Pad 147101 $7.50
Coastal Cabana Ink Pad 147097 $7.50
Misty Moonlight Ink Pad 153118 $7.50
Forever Greenery Ribbon Combo Pack 152475 $9.00
Elegant Faceted Gems 152464 $7.50
Paper Trimmer 152392 $25.00
Simply Shammy 147042 $8.00
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive 152813 $8.00
Multipurpose Liquid Glue 110755 $4.00
Dimensionals 104430 $4.00
Clear Block D 118485 $8.50
Paper Snips 103579 $10.00
Bone Folder 102300 $7.00
Stampin' Pierce Mat 126199 $5.00
Take Your Pick Tool 144107 $10.00

1- Trim off the edges of the envelope. Start by cutting the flap side first. You will be cutting very close to the outside edge. These measurements work for my paper trimmer, you may need to adjust a little.
Cut at 4 5/16”
Rotate to cut the opposite side at 4 1/8”
Rotate to cut the top at 5 9/16”
Then the last side at 5 3/8
Final dimensions 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”
2- Cut an inside rectangle from the middle: Remember not to cut all the way across and through the gold foiling. Line up the right side edge at ¼” for each side. Start your blade in the middle of the paper and cut up to the ¼” marking. Rotate and repeat on all edges. Then flip the paper over and do the same to finish cutting out the middle. (see video for details)
3- Add the pattern paper to the center of the cardbase at an angle. Adhere the frame over the pattern paper.
4- Using coordinating inks stamp the greeting on the ¾” strip and the images you want on some scrap cardstock. Fussy Cut. I used Calypso Coral for the greeting and flower, Misty Moonlight for the 3-leaf image, and Coastal Cabana for the fern.
5- Cut 10” of the Weave Ribbon and adhere it in a “z” shape to the back of the Gold Foil Sheet. Adhere below center to the right side of the card.
6- Add the greeting with dimensionals lower than center over the gold foil. Add the stamped images above the greeting, the flower with a dimensional.
7- Add some Elegant Faceted Gems around the images.

All Done!
