Cute Berry Basket Alternative Card Idea with the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Stampin' Up!

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. Today I am sharing another beautiful Alternate Card Ideas you can make with supplies from the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sweeter With You.

The cards in this kit are so fun and bright with strawberry die cuts and fun patterns.  The kit includes everything you need to make 8 cards, 2 in 4 different designs.

For my seventh alternative I creating another fun card with the die cuts from the kit. I also share a great technique to making the scallop rectangle piece a little shorter so it fits better on the card.

Thick Basic White Cardstock – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Green Cardbase (kit) – 2 ¼” x 5 ¼”

Strawberry Cardbase (kit) – ¾” x 5 ¼” & 1 ¼” x 5 ¼”

Linen Thread – 20”

Scallop Rectangle Piece (kit)

One Light Pink & One Dark Pink Strawberry Die Cuts (kit)

One Flower Die Cut (kit)

1- Make sure to use the Cutting Guide (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tkw0xnEZqQ0MfOrVRrz8lxn8lG_DphZL/view?usp=drive_link) to cut your pattern paper to the right size from the cardbases in the kit.

2- Add the larger Strawberry Strip on the right edge of the cardbase with about 1/8” border along the outside edges. Add the smaller Strawberry Strip to the left side with the same border along the outside edge.

3- Randomly stamp on the Green Cardbase piece your flower images with Garden Green ink. I kept the images to the top & bottom areas. You can stamp both at the same time by adding both of them to a clear block.

4- Slide this between the Strawberry Strips (or you can place it on top, but the Strawberry pieces will be slightly smaller).

5- Cut the Scallop Rectangle on the left side after two scallops (in the valley).

Count 4 scallops from the straight edge you just cut and cut again (in the valley) this piece will be removed.

Add the 2-scallop edge over the straight edge left on the Scallop Rectangle. I overlapped one scallop. Your finished size should be about 3 ½”.

6- Stamp Hello on the basket with Garden Green ink. Make sure your stamp is clean and then only ink up the word Hello. Add this to the bottom half of the Scallop rectangle with dimensionals.

7- Tuck two Strawberries with dimensionals in the basket. Add one Flower Die Cut with dimensionals near the greeting.

8- Wrap 20” of Linen Thread or Twine around the left side of the Scallop Rectangle and tie a bow near the greeting. This will help hide the cut line.

9- Add everything to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals. Stamp “You’re the Best” in Garden Green ink on the Pink Label from the kit and add below Hello.
