Creative & Company Team Showcase - Kathleen Champion

I am so excited to introduce Kathleen Champion @stampwithchamp as my Creative & Company Team Showcase Stamper for March. She wanted to work with the Lucky Clover Stamp Set.  Which is perfect not only for St. Patrick's Day, but anytime of the year.

Here is her first set of cards:

I love how the colors she used on these cards make the stamp set so versatile. For both cards she used Dandy Design DSP and pulled her color combinations from the patterns. The first Good Luck Card has a fun fold design.

For the bottom A Good Friend Is Like A Four-Leaf Clover Card she was inspired by the design in the January Key to My Heart PP kit. And used a masking technique to separate the sentiment for both the front and inside of the card.

Here second set of cards have a St. Patrick's Day Theme:

I love how Kathleen used a touch of Gold on the top Happy St. Patrick's Day Card. Use tore the cardstock and then applied gilded leafing with a little liquid glue. Such a great a idea!

For the bottom Happy St. Patrick's Day Card she punched out a mask with the Lucky Clover Punch (sold out) and used blending brushes to add these soft shapes.

I just love how they turned out - Thank you Kathleen for the great inspiration.

Here is the last set of card designed by Kathleen Champion with the Lucky Clover Stamp Set. I love how she used nontraditional colors with this stamp set & coordinating punch (Lucky Clover Punch - sold out).

She said that the inspiration for the top Sending Luck & Love Card came from a deck of cards.

And that the bottom Good Luck Card is an extension of the first card with more colors, plus heat embossed gold shamrocks using the stamp. I love how she found inspiration in the little things around her.

Thanks again Kathleen for all the beautiful cards you created. So many great ideas on ways to use the Lucky Clover Stamp Set all year long!

Here are some of the products Kathleen used to create her cards. (this is not a full supply list)

Two Cute Springtime Scenes Alternative Card Ideas with the February 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Stampin' Up!

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my third and last set of alternative card ideas using the February 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sunshine & Smiles.

This fun kit creates 9 springtime handmade cards. These are the intended cards you can make with the kit. There are enough supplies to make three of each card. They are the perfect way to send a little note to bring sunshine & smiles to your loved ones.

What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit along with some other products and create different or alternative projects. Today I am making two more cute spring cards.

If this project inspires you to create something, I would love for you to tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at

It is Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. This is the last alternative this week. If you would like to see all my alternatives check out the playlist here:

Card #1

1- Use the back of the yellow cardbase, we separated it for my first set of alternative cards. Cut it in half at 2 ¾”. Blend Old Olive ink with a Blending Brush over the white area to create a “ground”. Blend a little into the blue. Add as much ink as you want to get a nice blend from green to blue.

2- Use the front of the pink cardbase, we separated it for my first set of alternative cards. Add the blended background underneath the opening. Add everything to the front of the cardbase.

3- Add the Rabbit with dimensionals in the bottom left corner of the opening. Add two clouds to the top of the opening. Don’t use dimensionals.

4- Stamp the kite image on the kite die cuts. The first I stamped in Mango Melody. Then Flirty Flamingo & Coastal Cabana. If you don’t have enough kite die cuts you can make your own. First stamp the kite image in your choice of color. Then stamp the string image in Memento Black ink. Use a Black ballpoint pen or the Stampin’ Write Black Marker and draw an outline around and through the kite. Fussy cut out.

5- Add two kite with dimensionals so the strings touch the Rabbits hand. You can trim the string a little to make them different heights. Attach the strings to the Rabbits hand with a little bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

6- Add the Last Kite a little higher than the first two with dimensionals. Make the string not touch the Rabbit.

7- Stamp your greeting on a label from the kit. If you don’t have any left or want to use the Hello Greeting you can make your own. Stamp the greeting in Memento Black in the center on a piece of Basic White Cardstock. Use your Black Pen to create a decorative border around the edges. Then round the corners slightly with your Paper Snips. Attach your label to the bottom right area.

All Done!

Card #2

1- Open one of the envelopes by cutting a little off each side. Cut the large pattern area to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. Adhere to the front of the card.

2- On the second 2 ¾” x 4 ¼” background piece, blend Old Olive ink with a Blending Brush over the white area to create a “ground”. Blend a little into the blue. Add as much ink as you want to get a nice blend from green to blue. Add this to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals.

3- Stamp the Sun in Mango Melody on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock. Fussy Cut out. Add to the upper right area with a dimensional.

4- Stamp your greeting on a label from the kit. If you don’t have any more labels you can make your own by stamping on a strip about 5/8” x 2 ¼”. Stamp in Memento Black Ink and cut a flag shape from the left side. Add to the right edge of the cardbase with dimensionals.

5- Create a faux bow with 8” – 10” of Linen Thread. Tuck under the bottom right corner of the greeting.

6- Add the Turtle from the Kit to the left side above the greeting with dimensionals.

7- Add the last of the Flower Die Cuts above the greeting on the right side.

All Done!
