Watch These Flowers POP! | Paper Pumpkin Coloring Trick | Paper Pumpkin Alternative for January 2026 Special Delivery Kit

Welcome back to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey!

Today I’m sharing my fifth alternative card design created with the January 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Special Delivery.

For this card, I wanted to show how a couple of small changes can completely transform a kit image. By adding color to the white florals and changing up the ribbon, this card feels bold, dimensional, and extra special—while still using mostly kit contents.

It’s a great example of how you can customize Paper Pumpkin kits with just a few extra tools.

If you recreate this card, be sure to tag me @creativechelsey or use #creativechelsey so I can see your version!

Below you’ll find the full step-by-step tutorial, measurements, and supplies so you can create along with me.

Card Assembly Instructions

1. Trace the Flowers

Take the White Flower Frame Scrap Piece match it with the White Flowers on the Large Postage Rectangle. Trace the outside edge with a Poppy Parade Stampin’ Write Marker (or other red marker).

Repeat for all three white flowers.

Use the same Poppy Parade Stampin’ Write Marker and trace the light pink flowers.

Use a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker and trace the leaves & stems.

2. Color the Flowers

Color each of the White Flowers with Light Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend Marker. Make sure to stay out of the middle.

Use the Dark Poppy Parade Blend Marker to add shadows.

Use the Dark Bubble Bath Blend Marker to add shadows to the Light Pink Flowers.

Add a little shadow to the center of each flower with Darling Duckling Stampin’ Write Marker or Blend Marker.

3. Add Highlights & Shadows

White a White Gel Pen add some highlights to the red flowers and the green leaves.

With the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend Marker create a dropped shadow around all the flowers and leaves.

This will make the flowers pop even more off the paper.

Add this to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals.

4. Gold Accents

Cut out the Postage Rectangle Stamp from Vellum Cardstock.

Add a little Multi Liquid Glue to one long edge with a sponge, let dry a little till tacky.

Add Gold Leafing over the dried glue - remove excess.

Trim the Gold Edge off the rectangle at about 1/2".

5. Stamp your greeting

On the 1/2" Bubble Bath Cardstock strip, stamp your greeting in Poppy Parade ink.

Angle each end. Add the Gold Postage Edge below the greeting.

6. Finish with Embellishments

Split 15” of Gold Ribbon down the center. Create a faux bow with each side in the bottom right area.

Add the greeting over the center of the ribbon.
