The Sweetest Encouragement Card | Paper Pumpkin Alternative for January 2026 Special Delivery Kit

Welcome back to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey!
Today I’m excited to share my third alternative card design created with the January 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Special Delivery.

This card is all about soft layers, balanced symmetry, and heartfelt details. I absolutely love the sentiment on this one—it’s perfect for encouragement, friendship, or just letting someone know they’re appreciated.

You may have noticed that this design uses some past Paper Pumpkin Stamp Sets. I love how this card shows how easily you can use what you have along with the pieces in the kit to create a detailed, polished card while still keeping everything quick and simple.

If you recreate this card, be sure to tag me @creativechelsey or use #creativechelsey so I can see your version!

Below you’ll find the full step-by-step tutorial, measurements, and supplies so you can create along with me.

Card Assembly Instructions

1. Create the Card Base

Cut the Solid Pink Cardbase to 4-1/8" x 5-3/8". Splatter with Poppy Parade Ink across this piece. I used one Poppy Parade Blend Marker.

Cut one Pink Plaid Envelope to 2-1/4" x 5-3/8". Add to the left side of the Solid Pink piece with about 1/2" space.

Add everything to the cardbase. There should be a small 1/16” border all the way around.

2. Stamp your greeting

Stamp your choice of greeting in Poppy Parade ink on the White with Gold Edge Postage Stamp from the kit. I used a greeting from the March 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Add to the card with dimensionals over the Pink Envelope strip. It should sit a little higher than center.

3. Create the Floral Element

Add the Small White Flower with dimensionals to the top left corner of the greeting. Add the Large White Flower to the bottom right corner with dimensionals.

Cut 4 Leaves from Old Olive Cardstock. I used the leaves from the Beautiful Bloom Dies. Cut them under the flowers. I cut one in half and only added three leaves to the small flower.

Stamp more leaf or floral details on scraps from the Small White Cardbase. Stamp the leaves in Garden Green and a small flower in Darling Duckling. Fussy cut them out. I used the December 2025 Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set.

Tuck them around the White Flowers using glue dots.

4. Finish with Embellishments

Wrap 10” of White & Gold Twine around your fingers to create two loops. Add a glue dot where the loops and ends connect and tuck under the large flower / greeting on one side.

Repeat with another 10” of Twine and add to the opposite side.

Add 3-5 Gold Low Profile Dots.

I’ve also created a step-by-step video tutorial walking you through this card so you can easily craft along with me and see how the layers come together.
