Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my fifth alternative idea using the January 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Key To My Heart.
This kit comes with everything you need to make 9 Valentines Day Theme Greeting Cards, 3 in three different designs. This kit is filled with so many fun images & patterns. I like how the lock & key idea is unique and different than the typical Valentines Hearts.
What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit along with some other products and create different or alternative projects. Today I am sharing with you an easy card layout to use with scraps. I am using leftover pieces from my past projects. The exact sizes of these pieces do not matter. So, use what you have if you want to make a card similar to mine.

1- Begin by stamping a pattern on the Petal Pink scrap piece. I used the Circle image in Calypso Coral ink. To get a lighter color I Stamped OFF then ON my piece. Add this vertically to the center of the cardbase.
2- Use a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Marker to add some splatter over the cardbase.
3- Then stamp a pattern on the Fresh Freesia piece in Fresh Freesia Ink. I used the Key image. Add this to the cardbase with dimensionals.
4- Add the ½” x 4 ¾” Fine Shimmer - Gold Strip for a little flare near the bottom of the Fresh Freesia piece.
5- Add a Lock that you have left over from the kit to the right side with dimensionals.
6- Add one of the Vellum pieces to the left of the Lock
with a dimensional in the center.
7- Stamp your greeting on one of the Labels in Fresh Freesia and add it over the Vellum with a dimensional.
