Here are the dimensions and pieces you will need to
create these projects:
Mint Macaron Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Mint Macaron Cardstock – 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”
Crumb Cake Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Crumb Cake Cardstock – 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”
Blushing Bride Cardstock – scraps for stamping
Mint Macaron Cardstock – scraps for stamping and die
cutting
Fresh Freesia Cardstock – scraps for stamping
So Saffron Cardstock – scraps for stamping
Vellum Cardstock – 3” x 6” | 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Basic White Cardstock – scraps for stamping
1- Stamp your background.
Card 1: I used Mint Macaron ink on Mint Macaron cardstock
(4 1/8” x 5 3/8”) and all three leaf/branch images. Create a random pattern.
Card 2: Stamp Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock (4 1/8” x 5 3/8”). Use the grouping of small flowers and stamp on the left side of the cardstock in about 4-5 spots.
2- Add some splatter to the backgrounds with the same
color Stampin’ Write Marker. Add these to the coordinating cardbases.
3- Stamp your images with the same color ink as cardstock. Except the yellow, stamp Crushed Curry ink on So Saffron cardstock. Then add the inside of the flowers with Memento Black ink. Fussy cut out.
6 – Blushing Bride flowers, use the large three flower stamp
1 – Fresh Freesia flower, use the medium single flower stamp
3 – So Saffron/Crushed Curry flowers, use the two small flower stamps
2 – Mint Macaron branch, use the large and small stamps
4- Die cut accent pieces. On Vellum Cardstock (3” x 6”) cut out one of the delicate hollyhock large dies. On Mint Macaron Cardstock cut out 5 branches. Add adhesive sheet to the back of both pieces before cutting.
5- Cut out the Large Rectangle Frame from Vellum Cardstock. Keep both pieces. Add the frame at a slight angle to Card #1 (Mint Macaron Cardbase). I placed a glue dot in each corner.
Add the Hollyhock die to the center of the of frame (solid vellum rectangle). Trim off the overhang. Add this left of center on Card #2 - Crumb Cake Cardbase. Make sure to hide the adhesive behind the die cut.
6- Card #1: Add all 6 Blushing Bride Flowers going down the center inside the frame. You can curl the edges with a bone folder if you want a little dimension. Tuck in the 5 die cut Mint Macaron branches between the flowers.
Card #2: Add the Fresh Freesia Flower in the center of the Vellum piece. Add two small Yellow Flowers on the right and the two Mint Macaron Branches on the left. Add the third yellow flower at the bottom of the branches.
7- Stamp your greetings on Basic White Cardstock.
Card #1: I used “hello” and die cut it with the small
label in the Fabulous Frames Die Set. Add with dimensionals at the bottom of
the flowers.
Card #2: I stamped the “YOU MAKE MY LIFE BRIGHTER” and fussy cut out each word. Add these with liquid glue on the right bottom corner area of the Vellum Cardstock.
8- Add 3-5 Iridescent Pearl Embellishments to each card.
For Card #2 I did add a bow with 11” of Linen Thread near
the Fresh Freesia Flower.
All Done!
