Christmas Treat Bags & Free Template Download - Jingle Jingle Jingle Stamp Set & Santa Express DSP

Hello my crafting friends,

Today I will be sharing with you a fun holiday treat bag I created for Stampin’ Up!’s Facebook Page. These fun holiday treat bags are so quick and easy to put together. They have a square bottom so they stand on their own. Fill them with your favorite holiday candies and give to family & friends. If you are interested in any of these products make sure to purchase them before December as many are seasonal and will not be available after the end of the year.

Product List

1- Begin with a 6” x 6” sheet of Designer Series Paper. Create the box using your Paper Trimmer with both the cutting & scoring blades. Use the template provided for measurements.

2- On the inside add a small strip of Tear & Tape along the top edge, this will close the bag after you fill it.

3- Fold along all score lines, fold along the center line and attach the flap with adhesive to the inside of the treat bag. Fold up the bottom flaps into a square.

4- Use your Stamparatus to help position the images from the Jingle Jingle Jingle Stamp Set on to a piece of Basic White Cardstock. I like to multi-stamp the images to get a nice bold color.

5- Use an Embossing Buddy over the stamped images to keep embossing powder from sticking. Stamp the outline text in VersaMark, apply Gold Embossing Powder, and heat with your Heat Tool.

6- Cut out with the large tag from the Tailor Made Tags Dies.

7- Add any other little embellishments you would like. I added a Santa Hat, some paper strips cut to look like ribbons to the back, a Flat Jingle Bell Trinket, a bow from Gold Trim.

8- Place the tag on the treat bag with dimensionals. Fill with your favorite candy and give to a friend.

Here are a couple more ideas of different ways you can use the Square Bottom Treat Bags.
