Today's I would like to share with you how I made this perfect fall handmade card using the Come To Gather Suite of products by Stampin' Up. I also teach a useful technique to get the perfect rectangle shape for any greeting using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

1- With the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad stamp the leaf stamp on to the strip of whisper white cardstock. Immediately after stamping use the aqua painter to spread some of the ink into the leaf. If it is not as dark as you would like you can add some ink from the ink pad.
This watercoloring technique creates such a beautiful subtle color inside the image.
2- Do the same thing with the Mint Macaron ink pad. Stamp the leaf and use the aqua painter to add a subtle color inside. I did need to use extra ink from the ink pad.

3- Stamp a greeting in the empty space on the strip of white cardstock in Pretty Peacock ink. I used a Thank You from the Sweetly Swirled Stamp Set.
4- Use the Leaf from the Gathered Leaves Dies and any rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the leaf and the greeting. Run them through a big shot or other die cutting machine.

Tip: When you don't have the right size of rectangle you can make your own. Place the die so the greeting is in one of the corners of the rectangle - run it through the big shot.
Then place the die so the greeting is in the opposite corner, which should cut the remaining 2 sides exactly where you want them. Run it through your big shot.
5- Begin assembling the card by applying the larger DSP piece with snail to your card base. I placed mine at an angle.
6- Place the wood grain DSP on top with snail at a different angle.
7- With snail or glue dots adhere the leaves. The Mint Macaron leaf in the upper right corner of the wood grain dsp and the Pear Pizzazz leaf tilted in the opposite direction on the left closer to the middle of the dsp.
8- Place the 2 strips with snail - the Early Espresso first running just below middle of the Pear Pizzazz leaf. Then the plaid dsp on top. Have them run off the card on the right.
9- Take one of the Tags from the Tags & Feather Elements and string about 8" of Cajun Craze Linen Thread through the hole and tie a d bow.
10- Place the greeting on top of the wood tag so that most of the hole is covered by the greeting and the bow sit below and to the right. I used snail to adhere this to the tag.

Then flip it over and add a dimensional to the back of the greeting and some liquid glue to the back of the wooden tag.

11- Place this over the strips of paper just under the Mint Macaron leaf.
12- Trim off the part of the strips that hang off the card.
13- Add your accessories- I suggest using these Designer Elements in copper.
However, I didn't have them and did have some retired Candy Dots. So I used those. Just place them wherever you want.
All Done!
