Make Your Own Ornament using Scraps from the October 2025 Paper Pumpki Kit - Cozy Christmas

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. Thanks for joining me today as I share another beautiful Christmas themed Alternate Card Ideas you can make with supplies from the October 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Cozy Christmas.

The cards in this kit are quick and simple with Christmas themed images and colors. The kit makes a total of 9 cards 3 of three different designs with coordinating envelopes.

I have made a lot of alternatives, 8 to be exact with the contents to create one set of the original cards. This is the fourth alternative card I will be sharing with you this week. I am sharing how you can use a simple circle shape to create your own ornament for your card.

1- Make sure to use the Cutting Guide (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mAji1pYr_nlLOa1tyCgBiMo9gV6MuyvS/view?usp=sharing) to cut your pattern paper to the right size from the cardbases in the kit.

2- Copy the Ticket Corners from the Basic Beige Pattern piece to the corners of the Red Pattern piece. I used a ½” Circle Punch but you could trace and fussy cut as well.

3- Splatter the Basic Beige Pattern Ticket Corner piece with brown ink. I used a Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend Marker, but you could also use the ink mixed with a little water and a paintbrush. Add this to the center of the cardbase.

4- Add the Red Pattern Piece to the center with dimensionals.

5- Add Wink of Stella to the Brown Pattern Circle and adhere the Ornament Topper to the edge. If you want you can trim off the straight line. Add the ornament to the left of the Red Pattern Piece with dimensionals.

6- Stamp your greeting on the Merry Christmas Label in Garden Green ink. Add across the bottom of the Ornament with dimensionals. You may need to double stack the ones on the right or off the Ornament.

7- Cut from Granny Apple Green Cardstock some leaf shapes and tuck around the ornament and greeting.

8- Cut from Basic White Cardstock some flowers and add a touch of yellow ink (Darling Duckling) to the center with a Blending Brush. Tuck near the leaves.

9- Add three Red Sequins over the red berries on the Ornament Toppers. Tie 10” of Gold Twine (or another color) to the Topper.
