Add Beautiful Floral Elements To Your Mountain Majesties Paper Pumpkin Kit - May 2025 Alternate Ideas

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. Today I begin sharing beautiful Alternate Card Ideas you can make with supplies from the May 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Mountain Majesties.

The cards in this kit have beautiful mountain scenes. The kit makes a total of 9 cards 3 of three different designs with coordinating envelopes.

For my first alternatives I am using the mountain scenes as back drops to simple floral elements. I love how they turned out.

If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and make the original cards visit this playlist -  https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL40dV1oxpkNn5ahdYBdt92pbTIg2OGPFb

Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. A full supply list is below or on my blog – www.creativechelsey.com

I also want to mention the amazing perks you can receive when you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me as your demonstrator. With every Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set & Ink Spot sent, I design a card and mail out my very own card kit to my subscribers so they can make two of my exclusive card design. These cards so fun and show new ways to use stamps & ink. We also meet once each month to make the card together, chat & have fun.

*PLUS I have joined with other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators to design 7-10 more alternative ideas in a PDF Tutorial (includes photos & instructions). My subscribers receive this PDF Tutorial along with an Exclusively Designed Card Kit, all for FREE! If you would also like to receive this extra perk, sign up for paper pumpkin using the link below and make sure to select me as your demonstrator.

If you are interested in getting your own paper pumpkin subscription, please use this link to subscribe -  https://www.stampinup.com/products/paper-pumpkin-subscription/?demoid=2042902

1- Cut the back of the Cardbase at 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. Add to the front of the Thick Basic White Cardbase. There will be a small 1/16” border all around.

2- Create your greeting. Add Linen Thread to the back of the greeting (see notes below). Add the greeting and Linen Thread to the card with dimensionals.

Card A – add adhesive to the center and create a double faux bow.

Card B – wrap around your hand and lay on surface. Add adhesive to the top & bottom edges and lay on top of the wrapped linen thread to pick it up.

3- Cut out one Leaf Die (Hugs Abloom Die Set) from both the Lost Lagoon Vellum & Lost Lagoon Envelope Flap (you can remove the entire flap from the envelope if you want). Separate the leaves as you wish. Tuck under greeting & Linen Thread with glue dots in opposite areas.

4- Cut out three small flowers from the Petal Pink Envelope Flap (you can remove the entire flap from the envelope if you want). I used a retired punch that makes a ½” flower shape. Use a soft surface like the Stampin’ Piercing Mat and a large stylus to add dimension to the flowers. Begin with the flower upside down and round the top edges of each petal.

Then flip it over and press in a circular motion in the center to create the flower shape.

5- Add these around the greeting with a glue dot. Place a small Rhinestone in the center of each one.

All Done!

I have also created a video walking you through each step.
