The cards this month are perfect for Spring, with images of Herbs and soft blues, greens & pinks.
If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and make the original cards visit this playlist - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL40dV1oxpkNn3uZadkWjCmO0DXa_N2BHf
Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. A full supply list is below or on my blog – www.creativechelsey.com

Card #1
Basic Beige Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Bubble Bath Cardstock – 1” x 4”
Basic White Cardstock – 2” x 3” & scraps
Green Herb Cardbase – Kit
1- Splatter the cardbase with Early Espresso ink. I used the Stampin’ Write Marker.
2- Cut the Green Herb Cardbase from the Kit in half at 4 ¼”. Then rotate and cut 3”, save the 2 ½” piece for card #2. Add the 3” piece to the cardbase with about ½” space along the left & bottom edges.
3- Stamp your greeting in Early Espresso ink on the strip of Bubble Bath Cardstock on the right side. Tear the ends and add with dimensionals about 1” from the bottom of the cardbase.
4- On the 2” x 3” Basic White piece stamp the Chives in Old Olive on the right and left. Stamp a third one on scrap paper. Stamp the Chives Flower in Petunia Pop around the Chives, use 2nd Generation stamping to get a lighter tone. Stamp 3 more on scrap paper. Cut out using the coordinating dies.
5- Add the third Chives to the middle and Chives Flowers with dimensionals. Add to the left of the greeting with dimensionals.
6- Add 2-3 White Embellishments.
All Done!
Card #2
Thick Basic White Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Pool Party Cardstock – 3 ¾” x 3 ¾”
Green Herb Cardbase – Kit
Envelope Scraps – Kit
Linen Thread – 15”
1- Splatter Green ink over the Thick Basic White Cardbase.
2- Stamp the pattern image all over the Pool Party Cardstock
in Pool Party ink. Use 1st, 2nd & 3rd
Generation Stamping to give depth. Add this to the cardbase along the folded edge,
giving it even space along the top & bottom.
3- Cut a shape from the 2 ½” x 4 ¼” Green Herb Cardbase, I used one of the Around It All Dies. Distress the edges of the shape.
4- Tie 15” of Linen Thread around the base and tie a bow. Add this to the cardbase with about ¼” space of Pool Party showing on the right side with dimensionals.
5- Distress the cut out shape. Stamp your greeting on the back (white side) in Early Espresso ink. Adhere it under the opening.
6- Cut out from the Envelope Scrap from the Basic Beige side
with a leaf die or punch. I used the one from The Love Of Spring Dies. Tuck it
under the Linen Thread, add dimensionals as you wish.
All Done!
I have also created a video walking you through each step.
