As the calendar turns to September, our hearts instinctively turn to the cozy embrace of fall. This year, Paper Pumpkin has captured the essence of autumn in a crafting kit that is nothing short of enchanting. With its captivating imagery, the September 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit invites us to craft beautiful projects

This beautiful alternative card uses the leftover scraps from the last 5 projects I created.

1- Emboss the Basic White cardstock piece with your choice of Embossing Folder. I used the Star Pattern from the Basic 3D Embossing Folder Pack.

2- Cut the Gold Foil Piece in half at 7/16” x 3” Add one piece at the top and bottom of the Lost Lagoon card front (leftover piece from card #4). Add this to the center of the embossed Basic White piece.

3- From the Envelope leftover piece (card #2). Trim off the curved edge with adhesive. Trim down to 2 ½” x 3 ¼”. Add this to the far right side with dimensionals, don’t add any to the center.

4- Add the 2” x 3 ¼” from the Box Template, leftover from card #2, with no dimensionals, unless they are to support the edges.

5- Wrap White Herringbone Ribbon around the bottom of the pattern paper. Adhere to the edges to the back. Wrap 19” of Linen thread around the middle of the ribbon and tie a bow in the center.

6- Stamp the Branch image on Basic White Cardstock and fussy cut out.

Here is a fun technique I used to get a variegated look to your images.

• Ink with Lost Lagoon all over, add Mossy Meadow with a Stampin’ Sponge Dauber to add another layer of color to the leaves.

• Then color with a Copper Clay Stampin’ Write Marker to Branch sections and again with the Pebbled Path Marker on the Berries section.

• Do the same technique with a tissue over the whole image, stamp on Basic White cardstock.

7- Fussy cut out and add over the White Ribbon and under the Linen Thread with dimensionals on the left side. Leave space for a greeting to the right side.

8- Stamp your greeting in Pebbled Path above the ribbon. (this is why there should be no dimensionals in the center).

9- Add everything to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals.

10- Add Gold Sequins.

I have also created a video walking you through each step:
