Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set - How to Create A Magic Slider Interactive Handmade Card - Stampin Up

For today’s card I wanted to showcase some of the Sale-a-bration items. The Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set has very beautiful images. I love that both the lined image and 3D shaded image can both stand alone or be stamped together. It is a perfect stamp set to use for the Magic Slider Card. I have also made more cards with these products, you can check them out on my blog near the bottom of the post.

I hope you enjoy this handmade card tutorial and come back for more. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! You can tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at chelsey@creativechelsey.com

1- Begin by stamping the shaded images on the 4” x 5 ¼” white cardstock. I used Polished Pink for the large flower, Blushing Bride for the small flower, Granny Apple Green for the small leaves. Fill the cardstock with images.

2- Layer the window sheet over the white cardstock. Use washi tape to hold both pieces in place. Stamp the coordinating lined image on the window sheet with StazOn ink. If you have any images that don’t stamp well, you can use the cleaner and a paper towel or cotton swab to remove it from the window sheet.

3- Cut out a frame from the center of the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” Black piece. I used 3 ¼” x 4 ½” scallop from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

3- Add the white stamped cardstock to the front of the cardbase. Place the window sheet over the images so it matches up. Add adhesive to the black frame and place over the window sheet in the center of the cardbase. This will pick up the window sheet in the correct place.

4- With the 1 ½” circle from the Layering Circle Dies, remove a small curved section from the middle of the top piece of the frame for the pull tab. You may need to use a pair of paper snips to cut through the window sheet.

5- To create the pull tab piece. On the 3 ½” x 5 ½” white piece place the 1” wide tag from the Tailor Made Tag Dies in the top center of the cardstock. Use the Partial Die Cutting Technqiue to only cut about ¾” from the top of the tag into the cardstock. Then use your Paper Trimmer to remove the excess on the sides of the tag. Add a black arrow from the Give It A Whirl Dies.

6- Turn the black frame over and place the Pull Tab so it cover the opening and the tab sits inside the curved opening. You may need to trim some off the bottom of the pull tag so it fits. Add Adhesive Foam strips on either side & bottom of the pull tab piece to create a guide for the cardstock to slide in and out of. Adhere the frame over the front of the cardbase.

7- Stamp your greeting on Blushing Bride Cardstock. Add a faux bow with 10” of Silver Trim to the back and adhere to the front of the frame with dimensionals. Add some Rhinestones. Then slide the Pull Tab piece behind the frame to cover the colorful cardstock. When this is pulled up the Magic color will appear.

All Done!
