You Are Loved Alternative Card using Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin Box - June 2020 Box of Sunshine

For my third alternative project using the June 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Box of Sunshine I wanted to use the papers from the kit in a different way and decided to stamp on them. When I looked at the colors from the Poppy Parade and Crushed Curry cardbase I thought of beautiful hibiscus flowers. I hope you enjoy this tutorial. I love creating alternative cards with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more videos as I continue to create with this month’s kit. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! 1- To emboss the flowers – first start by removing the static from the watercolor paper with a dryer sheet. Stamp the flowers in VersaMark ink and cover with gold embossing powder. Remove the excess and heat with a heat tool. Cut out with coordinating dies.
2- Add the gold stripe paper to the left side of the black and white rectangle. Add these pieces to the center of the cardbase.
3- Color the Open-Weave Ribbon with the Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Marker and let dry. Add it to the card about 1” from the bottom of the black an white rectangle.
4- Place the two flowers in the center of the card. The one on top with dimensionals.
5- Cut a 9/16” strip from the white back of the cardbase and stamp the greeting “You are Loved” in Basic Black ink. Cut the sides down and add to your card with dimensionals. Place 3 sequins on your card.

All Done!
