Are you ready for some cute handmade cards using another new stamp set from Stampin’ Up? This one isn’t in the annual catalog and so I think it might get overlooked, but I just had to have it. It is called Cute Fruit and you can see it online or in the Beginner Brochure. I wanted to keep these cards simple but still stepped up with some easy techniques. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and get this new stamp set. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! Card #1
1- Begin by stamping the larger ring in Daffodil Delight randomly on the 4” x 5 ¼” Whisper White cardstock. Next stamp the matching citrus fruit image in Daffodil Delight with the “stamp off – stamp on” technique inside each ring. Repeat with the Granny Apple Green and Pumpkin Pie ink colors.
2- Cut a banner shape from the 2” x 2” Daffodil Delight cardstock.
3- Color 10” of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with Pumpkin Pie ink. Use a paint brush and water to die the ribbon. Let air dry or use a paper towel.
4- Stamp the greeting “wishing you a slice of happiness” in Granny Apple Green on the ¾” x 2 ¼” strip. Adhere the ribbon in a bow shape to the back of the greeting. Add this about ¼” from the top of the banner with dimensionals.
5- Adhere the fruit to the center of the Daffodil Delight cardbase, add the banner with dimensionals above center to the card. Add some pearls around the greeting.

All Done!

Card #2
1- To create the watercolor background for the fruit. Add Granny Apple Green ink directly to the Clear Block E. Spritz the ink with some water. Press onto the 3 ¼” x 4” Whisper White cardstock. Set aside to dry or use a heat tool. When dry splatter on some Granny Apple Green ink with a paint brush and water.
2- Stamp the fruit on the 4 ¼” x 5 ½” Whisper White cardstock. Then fussy cut each image out.
Watermelon – Real Red and Granny Apple Green Inks
Pineapple – Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Inks
Banana – Daffodil Delight Inks
Greeting “I couldn’t ask for a sweeter friend” – Real Red ink on the ½” strip of Whisper White Cardstock
3- Adhere the watercolor paper to the right side of the card with an even amount of space on the top, left and bottom sides.
4- Add the fruit with dimensionals. Place the pineapple on the left near the top of the watercolor cardstock. Add one watermelon underneath. Connect the two bananas together to make a bunch and add to the right of the watermelon. Add the last watermelon under the bananas. You may want to watch the video below to see how I placed the dimensionals.
5- Tie a bow with 10” of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and adhere in the space between the two watermelons. Place the greeting over the top of the bow. Add pearls around the greeting.

All Done!
