November Club Projects

Here are the club projects this month. I was inspired once again from a fellow demonstrator who swapped with me at convention this year. Followed the same layout and used the same stamp set and Designer Series Paper, just changed up the colors a little. I love sharing ideas!

Hope you enjoy!

Here is the card. There wasn't enough room for a saying on the front so I used the new & awesome Photopolymer Endless Wishes stamp set. Totally Clear! Just remember to add a little extra pressure so the image comes out perfectly. I thought with this saying this card could be anything...a Christmas card, Thank You card, Get Well Card...just love it! Check out the entire stamp set below.

This stamp set has so many possibilities...

So Simple Christmas Cards

Well I know we haven't had Thanksgiving yet, but there is no time like the present to check off something on my Christmas To Do List...Christmas Cards. There are a couple people each year I like to send handmade Christmas cards to...Parents, Grandparents, Siblings, etc. They are the ones who really appreciate the love and creativity I put into them. However, since they all know each other and look at one another Christmas cards, I like to make them each a little different. Stampin' Up to the rescue. They have fabulous kits for Christmas cards this year. This one Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit 132158 spoke to me and so what did I do...placed an order :)

It comes with supplies for 8 cards and envelopes. You will need a stamp set & ink. See below for the sets I used. I followed the instructions for the first card and then took out some of my other Christmas/Holiday stamps and used them for the other cards (some may be retired).

I love that all these cards came from the same kit...and of course there are so many other possibilities!
Here are some close ups:

Above: Merry Little Christmas Stamp Set (recommended)
Below: Come to Bethlehem (retired)

Above: Endless Wishes (Photopolymer Stamp - totally clear..see through!)
Below: O Holy Night

The really cute envelope liners!! If it is not your thing you can always use it as extra paper on the front of your cards.

Well of course when I think I have come up with a good idea, I like to share it. So your invited to my Beginner's Night class this Wednesday where we will be making each card with envelope.
Hope to see you there!

Have a creative day!

Baby Katelyn

So I have shared a little already about my sister having her first baby girl (child #3). Well she had her! She is so beautiful and everyone is doing well adjusting.

I decorated some wood letters for her room last month and wanted to share them with you.

I used acrylic paint and gave each letter a couple coats. I do have a couple rollers with fun designs and I like to stamp on wood with. I love this scrolly/flower one and it matches some fabric my sister used in her nursery. I inked it up with versamark and then heat embossed it with white. Then I used Chocolate Chip ink to give it an antique look. It needed a little some extra on each letter so I made these flowers for each letter. Some have a large flower others have smaller flowers. I used some retired colors since they matched the paint color exactly! Love my Stampin' Up craft room, it always comes to the rescue!

Well of course she loved them! Wouldn't you?
Hope you have a creative day today too!

October's Paper Pumpkin

I love getting my Paper Pumpkin every month! It is so fun to see the bright orange box sitting in my mail box. This month project was perfect for me...to do lists! I have those all around my house.

I especially loved the "notes" stamp and wanted to create a little something fun to go along with it. Here is a fun little Birthday Notes box to hold all the birthday cards given to my son/daughter during their birthday. I used a window sheet and my envelope builder punch board to make the box then decorated it with what else but the birthday designer series paper. I love how the window sheet is going to be more durable and will hopefully withstand my children's use. I also love the box being clear helps the cards stand out.

Did you know if you sign up for Paper Pumpkin with me you can receive more great ideas like this one each month. A group of fellow demonstrators and I have a blog the is exclusive to our Paper Pumpkin customers only with new ideas on different ways to use the one-of-a-kind stamps from that months kit. Don't miss out, click here to sign up.

Snowflake Wreath

I have had this idea in my head for a long time...
Sometimes ideas like this one stay there until they are forgotten...
Other times I can find the time to get it out and enjoy it...
I am so happy I took the time to make this I LOVE IT!

It is really similar to my spring time heart wreath I made earlier this year and I have loved that one so much that I had to make another one since I took the spring wreath down...didn't quite go with my Halloween decor...
Well now that Halloween is over...and snow is on the way...I can hang this one up.

Oh my gosh I just love it. I keep looking over at it on my door at least 10 times a day!
Here are some close ups:

We are making this wreath for Stamp Shoppe on Thursday this week. If you interested in coming you can leave a message here or email me @ chelseyhart@yahoo.com for more information.

Hope you have a creative day!

October Club Projects

Here are October's Club Projects. I was inspired by another demonstrators scrapbook pages that I swapped with during convention this past July. I make a couple changes and I think it turned out great. I love all the glitter!! It was a big mess but totally worth the bling factor.

Here are a couple close ups of the hexagons:

For those of you who are club members and are putting this together at home. Don't try to replicate the pattern, just do what looks good to you!

Here is the card...I went the extra mile with this one. I have a My Digital Studio download called Toxic Frameable and love the words in it. I wanted the text to span the length of the card, but don't have a stamp that large...so I used this jpg image and my e-cutter and walla a spooky text for a spooky card. Just because I could I also used spray adhesive and more black glitter to send it over the top.

Hope you have a creative day!

More MDS Invitations

My sister is pregnant with a girl after having 2 boys and my mom and I are throwing a shower for her this month. Of course I am wanted to create the invitations, but I procrastinated to the last minute and decided to use My Digital Studio to make things a little easier and faster. I created this invitation as a 4" x 6" photo and printed it at Costco (love that place).
Then I trimmed it down to 5.25", stitched these cute little baby onesies cut from my e-cutter using the MDS stamp image from Little Additions, and backed it all with some retired cardstock.

I also needed to make a kid friendly invitation to my parents Pumpkin Party they throw for the grandkids every year. The kids get to decorate a pumpkin for Halloween and have fun pumpkin treats. They love it. I wanted it to feel fun and a little spooky, so I used a lot of layers to give a foggy effect. I also cropped out the letters for Party from the Toxic Framable Stamp Brush Set so they would match the Pumpkin stamp.

I also made this as a 4" x 6" image, sent it to Costco with the baby shower invites and cut it down to 5.25". Then to finish it off I tied some white bakers twine around it and backed it with some Pumpkin Pie cardstock.

Lastly I made a really quick invitation to our neighborhood party. Honestly 1 hour and I was done! 80 invitations out the door.

I love how they turned out and how fast it all came together.
Hope you have a creative day!

Quick and Easy Cards

I am reading a great book about creativity and one of the first things it has you do is reinvent a common object. Here is my first attempt and using the Blossom Punch I think I can still push the limits, but it was late and has been a long day with my wonderful children. And because I like to use what I make for my classes we will be making these for this months Beginners Night.

Here are some close ups. I started with the Calypso Coral flower first, pretty basic and exactly what it is designed for stamping with the Mixed Bunch stamp set.

Then I stamped, punched, and cut into the flower...doing the same thing for a background cardstock from Daffodil Delight.

I love making paper flowers and krincling them is such an easy way to make the stand out. Using the This and That Epic Day Designer Series Paper. I punch 2 flowers and then added some extra flowers in the center.

Last I wanted a different look to my punched flower yet still wanted a 3D feeling so I punched out my flower snipped once in between 2 petals. Then I overlapped the 2 petals so a cone shaped is formed. I punched another flower and did the same thing, just not overlapping as far. Then I curled down the petals and adhered the 2 flowers together.

I am really happy with how they turned out. If you would like to come and learn how to make them my Beginners Night is on the second Wednesday of each month, Wednesday, October 9th starting at 6pm at my home (Clearfield, UT 84015) 4 cards for $5. No supplies needed, just come and enjoy a little craft time.
Enrollment is limited to only 10 people. Please leave a comment to RSVP now to make sure you get in.

Thanksgiving Journal

For Stamp Shoppe in October we will be making this Thankful Journal.
This journal is so beautiful and a great way to express your thankfulness for everything good in your life. It comes with 5 pocket pages with a pull out sheet where either individuals or families can reflect on the year. The black square in each page is for a picture of the person or family. Bring out this journal on Thanksgiving day or give it as a gift.

It is made from the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit. It uses only 1/2 a kit (including the chipboard as the covers). Here is a picture showing the cover & all the pages.

Here is a close up of one of the pages.

This is the pull-out sheet where you can write what you are thankful for.

Okay now that you think I am a creative genius I do have to give credit where credit is due. This was another idea from convention this year. I fell in love with it and had to make it. If you have to make it too, then come to my class...we meet on Thursday, October 3rd starting at 6pm at my home (Clearfield, UT 84015) Cost is $15.

If you bring a friend that has not been to any of my classes before you both will get a special card from me for Free.
Enrollment is limited to only 10 people. Please RSVP now to make sure you get in.
Please remember to bring your own adhesive (liquid glue), scissors, & bone folder (with your name on them).
Leave a message/comment today and sign up for the class!

Stampin Up Envelope Builder Punch

Have you seen this?
I showed it to my club members this month and they love it! The biggest benefit they all mentioned was the ability to make envelopes for any size card. I also loved that someone mentioned they were going to use their scrap Designer Series Paper to make envelopes and then design a card to go inside. What a clever idea!

Here is an video showing you how to use this awesome NEW product!
Let me know if you have any question or want to come to my house and get a feel for it by using mine.

I made these for my roomies during convention this year. They are also made with the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper adn Make a Wish stamp set. I used a simple bag template and created 3 3x3 cards to go inside. Take a look!

I love how cute they turned out.
