A Card Variation from the December 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Watercolor In Bloom - Stampin’ Up!

 Hello crafty friends!

Today I’m sharing this elegant “Dear Friend” alternative card that’s perfect for letting someone know just how much they mean to you. This is my seventh alternative card idea using the December 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Watercolor In Bloom. This card design is reminiscent of one of the original cards with just a few variations. It highlights beautiful layered die cuts, rich patterned paper, and a heartfelt sentiment that works for so many occasions.

I love how this card feels classic and timeless while still being very easy to recreate using Paper Pumpkin kit pieces.

How to Make This Card

1. Cardbase

Cut the Navy with Green Leaf Cardbaser to fit the card front and adhere it flat to the base.

2. Stamp Greeting

Stamp your greeting in Night of Navy in the center of the Decorative Oval Die Cut. I used two greetings together.

Adhere it to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals.

3. Add the Flower & Leaf Die Cuts

Add the Large Flower Die Cut to the bottom of the Oval with a dimensional.

Cut out two Leaf Dies from Shaded Spruce - I used the Abundant Joy Dies.

Tuck one under the flower on the right side and the other on the left.

Cut three Flower Sprig Die from Night of Navy Cardstock - using the Abundant Joy Dies.

Add them around the Flower.

4. Finish with Embellishments

Add some Bronze Sequins to finish the card.
