Create Custom Coordinated Embellishments for your Cards - Alternative September 2025 Paper Pumpkin

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. Today I share some beautiful card ideas you can make with the September 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Fall For Toile

The cards in this kit have beautiful brass foiling details and great die cut pieces and are perfect for this time of year.  The kit makes a total of 9 cards 3 of three different designs with coordinating envelopes.

This is the second alternative card I will be sharing with you this week. It is an easy card incorporating two of the cardbase patterns from the kit and layering the fun fall themed die cuts. I have a great tip that I haven’t shared in a long time to help you get coordinating embellishments. Stick around to check it out.

Early Espresso Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Linen Thread – 10”

Tan Toile Pattern Cardbase KIT – 3 ¾” x 5”

Brown Plaid Cardbase KIT – ½” x 5”

1- Make sure to use the Cutting Guide (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y3ZtqNfOvwrgObRzuZG32AxofBYORsvM/view?usp=sharing) to cut your pattern paper to the right size from the cardbases in the kit.

2- Add the Brown Plaid strip to the left of the Tan Toile piece. Add the Large Leaf Die Cut to the bottom left area.

3- Splatter with a Dark Brown ink all over. I am using one from the DEEP Stampin’ Blend Combo Pack – SU100.

4- With the same Blend Marker, color 10” of Linen Thread. I like using Stampin’ Blend Markers because the ink dries quickly and won’t rub off on your fingers once dry. You can use ink from your ink pads, but it can rub off a little.

5- Create a faux bow in the center of the Large Leaf Die Cut.

6- Add the Pumpkins Die Cut with dimensionals over the faux bow.

7- Place the Fox Die Cut with dimensionals above the Pumpkins.

8- Add the Thankful Die Cut with dimensionals below the Pumpkins.

9- Add everything to the center of your cardbase with dimensionals.

All Done!
