I love the paper and the stamp sets I used for these cards. They are from the Mixed Media Florals Suite Collections from Stampin’ Up. I love the Designer Series Paper. It comes in a pack of 12 sheets with 2 of 6 double-sided designs. Here is a quick look at each pattern in the pack. I love the bold images and colors. Perfect to make quick and easy cards for any occasions or even for a fun scrapbook page.

The Mixed Florals stamp set is also part of the suite and gives perfectly coordinating images you can color however you want. I used a fast imperfect coloring technique with Stampin’ Blend Markers that matches the style in the paper. The greeting comes from the More Messages Stamp Set. And I have a quick technique I want to share with you for how to select a single greeting from this large stamp.

Ink up the greeting in your choice of color, I am using the Memento Black Ink

Stamp the greeting in the center of a post it note (on the sticky side).

Cut a whole around the greeting you want to use, you can use a punch like I did or even a pair of scissors will work.

Ink the greeting again.

Lay the post it note over the stamp with the greeting inside the hole.

Lay a piece of Basic White Cardstock on top of the inked greeting and press firmly. Since my greeting is small enough I just ran my finger across the greeting, making sure to not move the paper.

Cut out with a punch or label die.

There you go! See the video below to more details on this technique.

I love making cards using the Sheetload Template. I think these cards turned out so beautiful. If you have never played around with the Sheetload of Cards templates & cutting guides, make sure to check it out.
