The cards this month are so cute with images
of Daisy’s and Cute little Bee’s. I also love the soft blue & yellows
together.
I am starting this week with two alternate card ideas made from the front of one cardbase in the kit. Both have similar layouts, but with a couple small changes you get two different cards. I am excited to share the little tips I used on these cards with you today.
If you would like to watch me unbox the kit
and make the original cards visit this playlist - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL40dV1oxpkNm1Myq6BdMg8plSrhWR7G27
Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. A full supply list is below or on my blog – www.creativechelsey.com
I also want to mention the amazing perks you can receive when you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me as your demonstrator. With every Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set & Ink Spot sent, I design a card and mail out my very own card kit to my subscribers so they can make two of my exclusive card design. These cards so fun and show new ways to use stamps & ink. We also meet once each month to make the card together, chat & have fun.
*PLUS I have joined with other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators to design 8-10 more alternative ideas in a PDF Tutorial (includes photos & instructions). My subscribers receive this PDF Tutorial along with an Exclusively Designed Card Kit, all for FREE! If you would also like to receive this extra perk, sign up for paper pumpkin using the link below and make sure to select me as your demonstrator.

Card #1
Thick Basic White Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Mossy Meadow Cardstock – 3 ½” x 4”
Linen Thread – 5” & 10”
Cream Cardbase – Kit
Flower Cardbase – Kit
Flower Die Cut - Kit
1- Cut the Cream Cardbase to 4” x 5 ¼”. Splatter Crushed Curry ink using a Stampin’ Write Marker on the front. Add to the Thick Basic White Cardbase.
2- Cut the Flower Side of the Cardbase at 4”. Cut down the middle so you have four flowers on one side and two on the other. The four flower side should be cut at 3” leaving the two flower side at 2 ½”. Add the four flower side to the Mossy Meadow piece with about 1/16” at the top.
3- Heat emboss your greeting in the Mossy Meadow space along the bottom on the left side. Use an Embossing Buddy and VersaMark Ink. Add White Embossing Powder and heat until shiny.
4- Wrap 5” of Linen Thread between the two pieces just above the greeting. Adhere the ends to the back with Tear & Tape. Add this to the cardbase about ½” from the top.
5- Create a faux bow with 10” of Linen Thread and place under a Die Cut Flower. Add to the card with a dimensional on the right side near the greeting. I used the same Die Cut Flower that matches the one on the cardbase.
All Done!
Card #2
Thick Basic White Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Mossy Meadow Cardstock – 1” x 4 ¼”
Linen Thread – 10”
Cream Cardbase – Kit
Flower Cardbase – Kit
Flower Die Cut - Kit
1- Cut the other half of the Cream Cardbase to 4” x 5 ¼”. Splatter Crushed Curry ink using a Stampin’ Write Marker on the front. Stamp the small Honeycomb image in Crushed Curry ink randomly all over. Add to the Thick Basic White Cardbase.
2- Adhere the second Flower Cardbase piece (2 ½” x 4”) about 1” from the top of the cardbase.
3- Heat emboss your greeting in the Mossy Meadow strip on the right side. Use an Embossing Buddy and VersaMark Ink. Add White Embossing Powder and heat until shiny. Cut a small Fishtail Banner on the right and add the Strip to the cardbase below the flowers with dimensionals.
4- Create a faux bow with 10” of Linen Thread and place under a Die Cut Flower. Add to the card with a dimensional on the left side near the greeting. I used a medium size Die Cut Flower.
All Done!
I have also created a video walking you through each step.
