The cards this month are so cute with images
of Daisy’s and Cute little Bee’s. I also love the soft blue & yellows
together.
This is the third set of alternative card ideas I will be sharing with you this week. These two cards use the Blue Cardbase along with Gold Foil Accents to create soft beautiful designs.

Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. A full supply list is below or on my blog – www.creativechelsey.com
I also want to mention the amazing perks you can receive when you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me as your demonstrator. With every Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set & Ink Spot sent, I design a card and mail out my very own card kit to my subscribers so they can make two of my exclusive card design. These cards so fun and show new ways to use stamps & ink. We also meet once each month to make the card together, chat & have fun.
*PLUS I have joined with other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators to design 8-10 more alternative ideas in a PDF Tutorial (includes photos & instructions). My subscribers receive this PDF Tutorial along with an Exclusively Designed Card Kit, all for FREE! If you would also like to receive this extra perk, sign up for paper pumpkin using the link below and make sure to select me as your demonstrator.

Card #1
Thick Basic White Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Gold Foil Sheet – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8’
White Baker’s Twine – 10”
Blue Cardbase – Kit
Vellum Piece – Kit
Gold Honeycomb Die Cut – Kit
Bee Die Cut – Kit
Daisies with Stem Die Cut – Kit
Greeting Label – Kit
1- Cut the Blue Cardbase in half at 3 ¾”. Then trim the height to 5”. Stamp the Large Honeycomb stamp in Lost Lagoon ink randomly in a couple places.
2- Splatter with White Craft Ink. I add a couple drops to a
clear block, mix with a little water with a water painter and splatter. Make
sure to let it dry before adding to the cardbase.
3- Cut out the center from the Gold Foil Piece. I did this by placing the long edge at ½”. Begin cutting in the center of the paper up to ½” and down to 4 5/8””. Repeat on the other long edge and repeat. Rotate to a short edge at ½” and cut from the center to ½” and down to 3 3/8”. Repeat on the other short edge. Remove the center piece and save for card #2.
4- Add the Gold Foil Frame to the cardbase at a slight angle. Add the Blue Cardbase piece on top at an opposing angle.
5- Add the Vellum Piece about 1/3” from the bottom on the right side. Add a little adhesive to the center it will be covered by the other pieces. Layer the Daisies with Stem to the left of the Vellum with dimensionals.
6- Add the Gold Honeycomb with a dimensional on top to the right of the Daisies. Add a Faux Bow with 10” of White Baker’s Twine in the center of the Vellum (it will be covered by the greeting).
7- Stamp your greeting in Lost Lagoon on one of the Labels. Add over the Faux Bow and dimensional holding the Gold Honeycomb piece with more dimensionals. Add a Bee with a dimensional in the bottom left corner.
All Done!
Card #2
Thick Basic White Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Gold Foil Sheet – 2 7/8” x 4 1/8’
White Baker’s Twine – 10”
Blue Cardbase – Kit
2 Gold Honeycomb Die Cut – Kit
Daisies in a Row Die Cut – Kit
Greeting Label – Kit
1- Cut the rest of the Blue Cardbase to 4” x 4 ½”. Splatter Lost Lagoon ink on top, I used a Stampin’ Write Marker.
2- From the center Gold Foil Piece cut two strips about ¾” x
4”. Add to the top and bottom along the 4” side of the Blue Cardbase piece. The
top is a little smaller than the bottom. Add this to the cardbase with a little
more space at the bottom.
4- Add the Gold Honeycomb piece with a dimensional on top to the center of the cardbase a little staggered. The dimensionals will eventually be covered by the greeting or flowers.
5- Stamp your greeting in Lost Lagoon on one of the Labels. Add over the dimensionals holding the Gold Honeycomb pieces in place – you can add more dimensionals as needed.
6- Separate the Daisies in a row into three pieces. Add two
above the greeting and one below with dimensionals.
7- Tie a bow with 10” of White Baker’s Twine and place in
the bottom left corner of the greeting with a glue dot.
All Done!
I have also created a video walking you through each step.
