Paper Pumpkin Perfection: September 2023 Kit Alternative Card Tutorial – Stampin’ Up!

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey.

Do you small the pumpkin spice scent as it fills the air? Yes, then it's time to welcome autumn into your crafts with this simple & easy handmade card. This September, Paper Pumpkin has outdone itself with a delightful kit featuring small cards and gift bags that reflect the warmth and charm of the season. Let me show you how you can take these elements and turn them into beautiful cards.

Todays tutorial is another beautiful alternative card using the pumpkin die cuts which make it simple and easy. This is the third alternative idea made with the September 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit called With Love & Gratitude.

Download a Cutting Template for the Box from the September 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit

1- Cut the center out of the Gold Foil with ½” border. This will give you a piece that is 4 1/8” x 2 7/8”.

2- Emboss the 3 ¾” x 5” Copper Clay Cardstock piece with your choice of Embossing Folder, I used Timber 3D Folder. Add this on top of the Gold Foil frame with a small border showing.

3- Cut a strip that is almost 2” x 5” from the Box Pieces, see template above. Randomly stamp the Branch Image in Crumb Cake on this strip. I used the Stamp Off & Stamp On technique to get a lighter image. Add this to the Embossed Copper Clay piece about ¼” from the bottom.

4- Add all these pieces to the front of the Copper Clay Cardbase with dimensionals.

5- Add the two Pumpkin Die Cuts to the right side above the strip with dimensionals.

6- Cut the leaves to separate then and tuck them under the pumpkins.

7- Color the Vanilla Twine with one of the Copper Clay Stampin’ Blend Markers to change the color to match the card.

8- Create a double faux bow with Glue Dots under the Pumpkin Dies.

9- Stamp your greeting in Copper Clay on the Banner Label. Add the greeting over the bow with dimensionals.

10- Add Gold Sequins.

All Done!
