Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternative Handmade Card Idea - November 2020 Jolly Gingerbread

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today is my first alternative project using the November 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Jolly Gingerbread. This kit comes with everything you need to make 15 cute gift card holders. However, I have taken these and with just a couple extra supplies from my craft room, I have turned them into handmade holiday cards.

I love creating alternative cards with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more videos as I continue to create with this month’s kit. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! 1- Stamp the scroll designs on the front and back house die cuts in Blushing Bride ink.

2- Stamp the greeting on the label or Whisper White ½” strip. Punch ends of strip with the Banner Pick-a-Punch to give it a banner look.

3- Stamp the larger scroll image 1” from the bottom of the cardbase so it almost touches the right edge of the card. Flip and repeat on the other side to create a mirror image. Repeat on other cardbase.

4- Trim off the flap of one gingerbread card, then cut the two houses in half. Add one to each cardbase in the center of the stamped scroll image.

5- Add some color to the little door punch out with a Sponge Dauber, I used Shaded Spruce. Add this to the back house die. If you want use a Blender Pen or markers to add little dots around the door in the coordinating colors. I then added a little chalk marker on the left of each circle to give it a 3D look.

6- Add the front & back house die cuts to the gingerbread houses with dimensionals.

7- Use one of the small scroll images and stamp it coming out of the chimney of the gingerbread house.

8- If you want ribbon, tie a bow with 10” of ribbon and add it to the back of the greeting before adding the greeting to the left of gingerbread house with dimensionals. If you want to add the candy dots from the kit, randomly place three around your card.

All Done!
