I hope you enjoy watching this video and give these techniques a try. Technique #1 – On Vellum Cardstock
1- Use a Stampin’ Blend Marker, I am using Night of Navy Dark. Color on the vellum cardstock in an even motion. The vellum has a texture and so the marker doesn’t blend the same way.
2- You can also remove color by using the Color Lifter Marker. I am creating clouds by swirling the color lifter marker around in a cloud shape. Then remove the ink from the vellum with a paper towel. The tip of the color lifter marker will have some color on it, to remove just rub the tip on some scrap paper until the tip is clear.

Technique #2 – Create Gradients or Ombre Look
1- On whisper white cardstock use two Stampin’ Blend Markers, I use both the light and dark markers of Old Olive, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight. I like to begin with the dark color and add it to the area I want to be dark.
2- Then add the light marker over the whole thing. Continue to blend with both markers to get the desired look you want.
3- You can create all different gradients – Top to bottom, left to right, circle. I colored each gradient in ¼ section of the cardstock.

Technique #3 – Change the Color of Ribbon or Twine
This works best on white ribbon/twine.
1- Cut the desired length, I used 6”. Then color with desired marker color, I used Dark Daffodil Delight. If your ribbon/twine is thick you may need to do both sides.

Technique #4 – Change the Color of Rhinestones/Pearls or other embellishments
This works best on light color or clear embellishments
1- Color with desired marker color, I used Dark Night of Navy over the top of the embellishment.

Finishing the Card:
1- Add Dark Crumb Cake to the whisper white cardstock. Add embossing buddy over all the colors.
2- Use VersaMark ink and stamp the balloons over the Old Olive, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight gradients and three baskets over the Crumb Cake. Add white embossing powder and heat with a heat tool.
3- Punch out the balloons and baskets with the coordinating punch.
4- Use the 2nd to largest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies and trim down the vellum cardstock.
5- Center the 2nd and 3rd largest rectangles within each other and connect with some tape. Run through a die cutting machine over Whisper White cardstock to create a frame.
6- Add the Old Olive and Daffodil Delight balloons and baskets to the vellum cardstock with liquid adhesive. Add the Calypso Coral balloon with dimensionals (the basket should be adhered with liquid adhesive)
7- Trim any areas that are coming off the vellum. Add the whisper white frame with liquid adhesive. Add this element to the center of your card base with sections of foam strips behind the frame and balloons so you can get light behind the vellum.
8- Use a dryer sheet over the Night of Navy cardstock to remove static. Stamp your greeting with VersaMark ink, add white embossing powder and heat set.
9- Punch out the greeting with the Label Me Fancy Punch. Add the ribbon to the back. Adhere over the Calypso Coral you will need to use both liquid adhesive (over the balloon) and a dimensional over the vellum. Add the rhinestones.

All done!
