Here are the dimensions and pieces you will need to create these cards:
Whisper White cardstock card base 4.25” x 11” scored at 5.5”
Crushed Curry cardstock 0.5” x 5.5”
Mint Macaron cardstock 2.5” x 4”
White Bakers Twine 16”

Here is a list of the supplies I used to make the cards:
Thick Whisper White 140272 $8.25
Crushed Curry Cardstock 131199 $8.75
Mint Macaron Cardstock 138337 $8.75
Crushed Curry Ink Pad 147087 $7.50
Mint Macaron Ink Pad 147106 $7.50
White Bakers Twine 124262 $3.50
Clear Embossing Powder 109130 $6.00
Heat Tool 129053 $30.00
Stitched Nested Label Dies 149638 $35.00
Paper Trimmer 152392 $25.00
Simply Shammy 147042 $8.00
Snail Adhesive 104332 $7.00
Multipurpose Liquid Glue 110755 $4.00
Dimensionals 104430 $4.00
Clear Block D 118485 $8.50
Paper Snips 103579 $10.00
Bone Folder 102300 $7.00
Stampin' Pierce Mat 126199 $5.00
Take Your Pick Tool 144107 $10.00

1- Take one of the paper bags and using a paper trimmer trim off the smallest size strip you can from both the left and right sides.
2- Open the bag so you can see the beautiful design in a triangle shape. Place the fold line at 2.75” and trim off the top of the bag. Then flip and repeat to remove the bottom. This should give you a finished piece that is 5.5” long.
3- Cut the Mint Macaron cardstock with one of the Stitched Nested Label Dies I used one size larger than the middle size. It cuts a label that is about 3.25” x 1.75”
4- Adhere the opened bag to the right side of the card so the triangle is pointing to the right.
5- Add the Crushed Curry cardstock so it is barely covering the edge of the paper bag.

I heat embossed my stamped images with clear embossing powder to give a nice shiny image to coordinate with the shiny images from the bag. Make sure you have all your supplies near when doing this technique because the ink dries faster than Versamark.

6- Use embossing buddy to remove the static from the paper. Then stamp the greeting “Wishing you a lifetime of love” at the bottom left of the label die cut in Mint Macaron ink.
7- Immediately place it into the clear embossing powder.
8- Heat with a heat tool.
9- When doing the heart add a strip of thin scrap paper to the back of the heart (the colored side). This gives you something to hold on to when adding the embossing powder and heat. I used a piece I cut from the paper bag. Don’t’ use regular cardstock. It is too think and you might not get a good image when stamping.
10- Ink up the flower pattern stamp and stamp it in Crushed Curry on the white side of the heart.
11- Immediately add it to the clear embossing powder.
12- Heat with a heat tool.
13- Add the Mint Macaron label to the left of the card. Place it so the center is of the card is just above the greeting.
14- Add the 16” of white twine. Tie a bow in the center of the card. Place the twine so it covers the fold line from the paper bag.

15- Add the heart at an angle just above the greeting with dimensionals. Try not to glue down the twine so you can freely move the twine so it is on the right side of the heart.

All done!

  1. Chelsey, I have never before commented on any online forum but I thought that I needed to today to let you know that I love your Paper Pumpkin alternative cards. I love the fact that I know that only one box is required to complete your projects, so I do not have to watch the whole video before deciding to jump in and that all of your cards have a definite "WOW" punch. On top of that, there are months where I can double the cards. Thank you for sharing your creativity - I will be following each month and catching up on past kits that I haven't yet used! Cheers, Kelly
