Welcome back to Creative Chelsey! Today I’m sharing a beautiful and simple Christmas card idea that you can recreate with supplies from your November 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit—Wrapped In Cheer. I love designs that feel festive, layered, and handmade without being complicated—and this card checks every box!
With warm traditional colors, soft patterns, and a bold layered tag focal point, this card is perfect for sending a little Christmas cheer to friends and family this season.
This card features layered tags, festive die-cut foliage, and a cozy plaid background. It looks beautifully detailed but comes together quickly using simple pieces.
If you recreate this project, don’t forget to tag me @creativechelsey or use #creativechelsey so I can see your beautiful creations!

CUTTING GUIDE – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1brzTovK8oGR9Leowz1tH5s-mL6kS_Uck/view?usp=drive_link
1. Add the Pieces from the Gift Box
Use the Cutting Guide to cut a 3-3/4" x 5-1/2" piece from one Gift Box. Add to the center of the cardbase.
Use the Cutting Guide to cut a 3/4" x 3-3/4" strip from one Gift Box. Add horizontally to the center of the pattern piece.
2. Decorate the Red Tag
Stamp the Wreath in Cherry Cobbler ink randomly on the Red Tag. Use a scrap piece of paper or Post-It Note to cover the bottom white area so you don't stamp on it.
Color the two 2-1/2" Tabs from one Gift Box with a light green Stampin' Blend Marker. I used the Light Granny Apple Green. Add one on each side of the Red Tag adhering it to the back.
Use dimensionals under the red tag for depth and place it on the right side of the cardbase.
3. Add Foliage
Seperate two small branches from both the Branch with Leaves & Branch with Berries. Layer one of each together and place them so they point to the bottom left corner of the Red Tag.
Repeat with the other two pointing to the top left corner of the Red Tag.
4. Add Linen Thread
Create a faux bow with 12" of linen thread adhered in the center of the Red Tag.
The loops of the bow should go in the same direction as the Leaves & Berry Branches.
5. Stamp the Greeting
Stamp your Christmas sentiment onto a white 1-1/2"
circle with Mossy Meadow ink.
Place it in the center of the Leaves & Berry Branches using dimensionals.
6. Complete Your Card
Add a white panel inside if you want space for a handwritten message.
All done! You’ve created a classic and cozy Christmas
card.
