Make Your Card Glow - An Alternative Card Idea Using The June 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Stampin' Up!

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. Today I am sharing more beautiful Alternate Card Ideas you can make with supplies from the June 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Full of Charm.

The cards in this kit have beautiful floral images mixed with gold accents.  There are so many fun images to play around with and create a lot of alternative cards. The kit makes a total of 9 cards 3 of three different designs with coordinating envelopes.

This card uses a little blending to give a glowing effect to the flowers. I also add some die cut flowers from the Circle of Season Dies which coordinate with the July, Aug, and September Paper Pumpkin Kits to add a little more details and interest.

Thick Basic White Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Daffodil Delight Cardstock – scraps

Berry Burst Cardstock - scraps

Gold Dotted Cardbase with Watercolor Flowers – kit

Gold Foil Intersecting Lines Cardbase (scrap) – kit

Pretty Peacock Branch Die Cut – kit

1- Trim ¼” from the top of the Front Watercolor Flowers Cardbase. Then trim the sides down to 4”. Add a little or a lot of blending with Daffodil Delight around the edges based on your desired look. Add to the center of the cardbase.

2- If you would like to add a little extra glam, apply Wink of Stella to the flowers and leaves.

3- Trim the Gold Foil Interesting Lines scrap piece down to only show the area where the lines intersect. I walk you through it in the video below. My piece is about 9/16” x 1 7/8”.

4- Stamp your greeting on the back of the ¼” strip cut from the top of the Watercolor Flowers Cardbase in Pretty Peacock ink. Add this to the center of the Gold Foil Intersecting Lines piece. Trim the edges to match. Add to the cardbase near the brown leaf with dimensionals.

5- Flip the Pretty Peacock Branch Die Cut to the back and color with the Light Old Olive Blend Marker. Separate into smaller sections and tuck around the flowers and greeting.

6- Cut some small flowers from Daffodil Delight & Berry Burst Cardstock using the Circle Of Season Dies. Add them around the greeting with glue dots.

7- Add small Iridescent Pearls to the center of the flowers.
