Turn One Envelope into a Beautiful Handmade Card- October 2021 Alternative Paper Pumpkin Stampin' Up

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my fifth alternative idea using the October 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Peaceful Christmas. This kit comes with everything you need to make 10 beautiful Christmas Cards, 5 in two different designs. What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit along with some other products and create different things. Today I am sharing a quick card using one of the envelopes from the kit.

If this project inspires you to create something, I would love for you to tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at chelsey@creativechelsey.com. I love creating alternative projects with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more as I continue to create with this month’s kit

1- Begin by opening up the envelope so you are only working on the front piece. I do this by removing the folded edge on three sides. Trim the length to 5 ¼”. Then remove the bottom where the Silver Foil Trees at 1 ¾”. Flip the paper over and cut the Buffalo Check side into two pieces at ½” & 2”.

2- Add the ½” Buffalo Check piece to the top of the cardbase and the 2” piece to the bottom. They should have an even border around the outside edges.

3- Place the Silver Foil Trees on the 1 7/8” strip of Basic White Cardstock. Add this over the opening on the cardbase.

4- Stamp your greeting on the ¾” Basic White piece in Shaded Spruce ink. Then attach the Real Red Banner from the kit. Add this to the cardbase below the trees with dimensionals.

5- Add three Gems.

All Done!
