Today is my first set of three alternative cards using the August 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Hope Box. This kit comes with everything you need to make 9 beautiful handmade cards and decorate the box with messages of hope. Using the supplies in the kit I like to create alternative cards. Prep Large Die Cut

1- Add glue to the back of the die cut with a small sponge and liquid glue. Then match up the soft shapes on the White Cardbase from the kit and adhere. Let dry before cutting.

2- Cut the Cardbase in half at 4 ¼”. Keep the black back side for a future card.

3- On the back of the die cut piece, score the 5 ½” side at 1 ½” & 4”. Use a pair of scissors and cut down both score lines. This will give you two pieces that are 1 ½” x 4 ¼” and one piece 2 ½” x 4 ¼”.

Card #1-

1- Cut the Rainbow Piece into three horizontal sections at 1 3/8”. Each section will be 1 3/8” x 3”.

2- Use your grid paper or a ruler and place the sections into a rectangle that is 3” x 3 ¾”. Use washi tape to hold pieces in place as you add dimensionals to the back. Then adhere to the center of a Thick Basic White Cardbase.

3- Stamp the Splatter image in Blackberry Bliss on each strip. Use the stamp off, stamp on technique to get a lighter color.

4- Find the die cut piece with the cut on the left side, and fussy cut around the outside edge. Adhere to the left edge of the panel pieces.

5- Cut 12” of ribbon and remove 4-5 strands. Add these in a faux double bow to the back of the Small Yellow Hope piece. Add this to the card with dimensionals.

6- Stamp the other greetings “Where there is” & “there is faith” on the two small rectangle labels. Add these above and below Hope.

7- Add three sequins

Card #2-

1- Cut the Bermuda Bay Piece into three vertical sections at 1 3/16”. Each section will be 1 3/16” x 4 ¾”.

2- Use your grid paper or a ruler and place the sections into a rectangle that is 3 ¾”x 4 ¾”. Use washi tape to hold pieces in place as you add dimensionals to the back. Then adhere to the center of a Thick Basic White Cardbase.

3- Place the Banner at an angle a little below middle. Then find the other 1 ½” Die cut piece and fussy cut around the outside edge. Add this above the Banner.

5- Pull another 4-5 strands from the 12” piece of ribbon and tie a large floppy bow. Adhere between the banner and flower on the right side with a glue dot.

4- Stamp the greeting on the Basic White 5/8” strip. Add over the ribbon and between the two pieces with dimensionals.

5- Add three sequins.

Card #3-

1- Add the center 2 ½” Die Cut piece centered on top of the 2 ¾” x 4 ¼” Melon Mambo Cardstock. Add this to the center of the Pool Party Cardbase with dimensionals.

2- Stamp the greeting in the circle label.

3- Use another 4-5 strands of the ribbon and do a faux double bow on the back. Add the greeting to the bottom left corner of the center panel with dimensionals.

4- Add three sequins.

All Done!
