Alternative Birthday Card using the Stamp Set from April 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit -My Wonderful Family

This tutorial is part of my Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card ideas for April 2020 – My Wonderful Family Kit. This tutorial shows you how to use the stamp set in this kit along with other Stampin’ Up products to create a fun birthday card. I love how this card has such a different feeling and look from the original cards in the kit. You don’t even recognize the tree top leaf stamp I used to create the pattern in the circles. I hope this tutorial gives you some fun ideas on different ways you can use the stamp set in this kit. I love creating alternative cards with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more videos as I continue to create with this month’s kit.

1- Stamp the tree top leaf image 2 or 3 times in each ink color – Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Gorgeous Grape. You want to have 12 images.
2- Use the 1 5/8” circle die and cut a circle from each stamped image. You will have 12 circles. Arrange them in any pattern on the 4 ¼” x 5 ½” Whisper White cardstock. It is okay if they come off the paper.
3- Trim the paper with the circles down to 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”. Adhere it to the Black cardstock.
4- Wrap the Black Twine around the bottom of the cardstocks and adhere the ends on the back. Adhere the whole piece to the card with dimensionals.
5- Add embossing buddy to the 2 ½” x 2 ½ white square. Stamp your greetings in VersaMark ink, add Black embossing powder, and heat until shinny. Fussy cut. Add with dimensionals or glue dots to the left side of the card over the twine.

All Done!
