This is the third alternative card I will be sharing with you this week. I love the scattered look on this card. By using splatters, and different sizes of hearts in both stamping, foil & paper, I created a whimsical feeling with a touch of elegance.
Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. Thick Basic White Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Water Painter & White Craft Ink
Real Red Cardbase (half) – Kit
Three Small White Hearts (punched out of the Printed Heart
Rectangle) – Kit
Large Foil Laser Cut Heart – Kit
Foiled Edge Label – Kit
Foil Stickers – Kit
1- Trim the Real Red Cardbase (half) to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. Splatter White Craft Ink all over by mixing a couple drops with water and flicking it with a paintbrush. Let dry – you can use a heat tool to speed up drying if you want.
2- Once the White Splatters are dry, stamp the solid heart in Real Red ink randomly about 5-6 places. Add to the front of the cardbase with a small border all the way around.
3- Add the Embossed Foil Sticker to the top right corner and
layer a Small White Heart in the bottom left area of the heart with a
dimensional.
4- Add the Laser Cut Foil Heart to the bottom left corner with dimensionals. Stamp your greeting in Real Red in the center of the Foil Edge Label and add over the Foil Heart with dimensionals on the right and left sides only.
5- Add a Small Solid Foil Heart Sticker to the bottom right area of the greeting with a dimensional placed at the bottom so the sticker can directly touch the label. Add two Small White Hearts near the greeting with glue dots.
