The cards this month are so cute and really
easy to make with beautiful textures and foil accents. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit
and create these cards click on the playlist in the top right corner.
I am starting this week with one of my simpler designs. I love how the large Marbled Heart Die Cut stands out against the deep red background. Plus a simple trick to getting this scalloped edge look. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and make the original cards visit this playlist - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL40dV1oxpkNmWbQHZrcm9aXxWqpVvFSAC
Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. A full supply list is below or on my blog – www.creativechelsey.com

Thick Basic White Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Petal Pink Cardstock – 3/8” x 3”
Real Red Cardbase – Kit
White Cardbase – Kit
Flirty Flamingo Marbled Heart Die Cut – Kit
3 White Hearts in a Row - Kit
Real Red Linen Thread – 8”
1- Cut the Real Red Cardbase in half at 4 ¼”. Save one half for a future alternative card. Adhere the other half to the front of the Thick Basic White Cardbase.
2- Add the Flirty Flamingo Marbled Heart to the center with
dimensionals.
3- With the 3 White Hearts in a Row, remove two hearts from each keeping 6 hearts together and cutting the 6th heart to look like a finished heart – curved into the one next to it.
4- Stamp your greeting on the Petal Pink Strip in Real Red ink. Flag the ends.
5- With the 3 – two hearts rows, trim off the point at the
bottom and then add behind the greeting strip so the hearts create a scallop
along the bottom edge. Add this to the center of the Flirty Flamingo Marbled
Heart with dimensionals.
6- Cut the White Cardbase in half at 4 ¼”. Save the front with the hearts for another alternative card. on the back, stamp the Small Solid Heart in Flirty Flamingo ink and the Small Branch in Real Red ink and fussy cut out. Add to the top right side above the greeting with a sliced dimensional. Add the Branch to the left side of the heart with a glue dot. How To Slice A Dimensional: I do this by placing one dimensional behind the heart, while holding the heart between a finger and a thumb take a pair of paper ships and cut it horizontally so it is about half the depth. Add adhesive to the foam and stick where you want it. You can save the other side for another project if you want.
7- Create a faux bow with 8” of Real Red Twine and add under the right side of the greeting.
All Done!
I have also created a video walking you through each step.
