The cards this month are so cute and really
easy to make with beautiful textures and foil accents. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit
and create these cards click on the playlist in the top right corner.
This is the fifth alternative card I will be sharing with you this week. This card uses a fun repeating pattern to give interest to the background. I am excited to share with you how I made it. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and make the original cards visit this playlist - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL40dV1oxpkNmWbQHZrcm9aXxWqpVvFSAC
Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. A full supply list is below or on my blog – www.creativechelsey.com

Petal Pink Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Petal Pink Cardstock – 3” x 3”
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”
Envelope (back & flap pieces)– Kit
White Cardbase (front) – Kit
Small White Banner – Kit
Foil Stickers – Kit
1- Trim ¼” from all side of the White Cardbase Front (shadow hearts) so you final size is 3 ¾” x 5”.
2- Randomly stamp the Solid Heart in Real Red over the
shadow hearts.
3- Find a Small Heart in another Stamp Set you have (I used one from the Bee My Valentine Set). Make sure it will cover up the Shadows printed on the paper. Stamp this in Flirty Flamingo over all the open shadow hearts.
4- Splatter over the Stamped Hearts with a coordinating color ink – I used Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker.
5- Distress the edges of the White Stamped Hearts & Flirty Flamingo pieces and layer them together. Add this to the center of the cardbase.
6- Cut a 1 ¼” strip from the bottom edge of the Envelope Back. Trim the sides into a fish tail banner shape. Distress the edges and add to the center of the Stamped Hearts with dimensionals on the sides and glued down in the middle.
7- Cut a Large Heart from Petal Pink Cardstock with the
Spring Is In The Air Dies. On the Solid Heart add a little Wink of Stella and
place it over the Banner at an angle with dimensionals.
8- Add the Love Sticker to the Envelope Flap and fussy cut giving it a nice red border all the way around. You can access the inside of the “L” by punching a small hold and doing a rough cut first – see video below. Add this to the center of the Petal Pink Heart with dimensionals.
9- Stamp YOU in Real Red ink on the Small Banner and tuck under the Petal Pink Heart on the right side with a dimensional.
10- If you want add a couple Tiny Heart Embellishments to the Petal Pink Heart.
All Done!
I have also created a video walking you through each step.
