SIMPLE & STUNNING Card in Minutes! | March 2026 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card Stampin' Up!

We made it to the final card! 🎉 This is my ninth and last alternative design using the March 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit, and I wanted to end with something that truly highlights the beauty of this kit…

Simple. Clean. Elegant.

This card proves that you don’t need a lot of layers or techniques to create something absolutely beautiful.

For this final design, I focused on:

      A clean and simple layout

Letting the stamped florals and hummingbird shine

Minimal layers for a soft, elegant feel

Just a few embellishments for the perfect finishing touch

This is the kind of card you can make quickly—but it still feels special and thoughtful.

Measurements

Thick Basic White Cardbase - 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"

Light Gray Cardbase* - 3” x 4”

Hummingbird*

Glitter Dots*

Card Assembly Instructions

1. Stamp the Florals & Color

Stamp the floral & leaf images in Basic Gray ink in the lower left corner of your panel.

This keeps the design grounded while leaving plenty of open space.

Lightly color the florals using Stampin’ Blends:

Soft greens for the leaves - I used Granny Apple Green

Light pink tones for the flowers - I used Bubble Bath with a touch of Berry Burst

👉 Tip: Keep your coloring minimal—this card is all about simplicity.

2. Stamp the Sentiment & Hummingbird

Stamp the “Hello” sentiment in Basic Gray near the top of the panel.

The placement balances the floral image perfectly.

Attach the hummingbird using dimensionals so it slightly overlaps the floral image and looks to be hovering above the flowers.

3. Add to the Cardbase & add Embellishments

Add the panel to the front of the cardbase with dimensionals. If you want to step up the design you could add an embossed piece of cardstock between the panel & cardbase.

Add just a few Glitter Dots from the kit for a little sparkle—no more than 2–3 to keep that clean look.

Why I Love This Card

I love ending with this card because it’s a great reminder that:

💡 Simple doesn’t mean boring—it means intentional.

The white space, soft coloring, and minimal elements all work together to create something that feels calm, polished, and beautiful.

Stretch Your Paper Pumpkin Kit! EASY Slimline Style Card You’ll Love | March 2026 Paper Pumpkin Alternative

I’m back with another alternative idea using the March 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit, and this is my eighth card design!

For this one, I wanted to show how you can stretch your kit supplies and create a simple slimline-style card that feels fresh, modern, and super easy to replicate.

This design is all about:

Using a long, horizontal layout for a different look

Letting the stamped floral strip be the star

Adding contrast with a bold black die-cut sentiment

      Keeping everything clean and balanced

It’s simple… but SO pretty!

Measurements

Pool Party Cardbase - 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"

Bubble Bath Cardstock - 2-5/8" x 5-1/2"

Basic Black Cardstock - 1" x 3-1/2"

Light Gray Cardbase* - 1-3/4” x 5-1/2”

Long Label* - scrap

Hummingbird*

Glitter Dots*

Card Assembly Instructions

1. Stamp & Color the Floral Panel

Stamp the Flower Garden image in Basic Gray ink across a strip of Light Gray from the Cardbase. Place the score line at the bottom. The stamping will hide it.

Color the flowers and leaves using Stampin’ Blends. I used Berry Burst (Light), Bubble Bath (Dark) & Petal Pink for the Flowers and Old Olive (Light) & Granny Apple Green (both) for the Leaves.

Keep the coloring soft and simple

Add just enough color to bring the image to life

Layer this piece onto your Bubble Bath strip about 1/4" from the bottom.

2. Add Soft Background Stamping

Stamp small floral images lightly in each corner of the cardbase using Pool Party ink.

👉 Tip: This adds subtle detail without overwhelming your design.

Add the Flower Garden piece with Bubble Bath border to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals.

3. Add the Sentiment

Add Adhesive Foam Sheet to Basic Black piece and cut out “Beautiful”. Place it across the Bubble Bath border at the top and a little off to the left of center.

From the Leftover Long Label piece from the kit (see card #6). Cut down to 1” and flag the right end. Write “Hello” and add above the letter B.

👉 Tip: The black sentiment really pops against the soft pastel colors!

4. Add the Hummingbird & Embellishments

Attach the hummingbird near the sentiment using dimensionals for a bit of dimension and movement.

Add a few embellishments for sparkle and you’re done!

Why I Love This Card

I love how this card shows that you don’t need a lot of layers or techniques to make something beautiful.

The horizontal layout feels different, the colors are soft and pretty, and that bold sentiment pulls everything together.

It’s quick, easy, and perfect when you need a card in a hurry 💕
