The project this month are cute Stockings
with Tags that you can fill and give away to friends and family. I love the
retro designs and colors in the kit. If you would like to watch me unbox the
kit and create these cards click on the playlist click on this link -
If you are not into making the stockings this month and would like some card ideas instead you are in the right place. Today I am sharing with how to cut up the stocking and do a little prep work so we are ready to make all five cards next week. I will also be giving a sneak peek look at all 5 cards you can make along with me starting Monday.
Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. A full supply list is below.
I also want to mention the amazing perks you can receive when you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me as your demonstrator. With every Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set & Ink Spot sent, I design a card and mail out my very own card kit to my subscribers so they can make two of my exclusive card design. These cards so fun and show new ways to use stamps & ink. We also meet once each month to make the card together, chat & have fun. If you would also like to receive this extra perk, sign up for paper pumpkin using the link below and make sure to select me as your demonstrator.

1- With a good pair of Fabric Scissors remove the top folded section about ½” from the top. Keep it in a loop.
2- Remove the Red Stitching all around the stocking about ¼” in. Make sure you do not cut the red thread as this will unravel and we want it to stay together. Also keep in one piece.
3- Remove the Stripe Pattern from the top of each side right along the edge where the solid and pattern meet. It will be about 1 7/8” x 2 ¾”.
4- Apply Adhesive Sheet to one side of each solid stocking. I did this by tracing the stocking on the Adhesive Sheet, cut with a pair of Paper Snips.
Remove one side of Paper Backing from the Adhesive Sheet and apply it to one side of the Fabric Stocking. Repeat for the second Stocking.
Note: I didn’t notice a right or wrong side of the fabric,
so it doesn’t really matter which side you add the adhesive sheet.
All Done – Come back on Monday to see the first Alternative
Card!
Here are some sneak peeks so you can get EXCITED!
I have also created a video walking you through each step.
