Alternative Cards July 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Summer Nights | Two ways to use the Tealight Bags

For today’s alternative Paper Pumpkin I want to share two different ways to use the tealight bags from the kit to create two handmade cards. For the first card I use the tealight bags as a stencil and for the second card I cut it out and use it as a background element. I love creating alternative cards with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more videos as I continue to create with this month’s kit. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! Card #1
1- Open the back of the tealight bag and flatten out. Tape down the postcard, then tape the tealight bag so the firework is in a little above center. Use a sponge dauber and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Sport to add color into the cut out areas. Try not to rub as it might tear the paper. Remove the tape and stencil.
2- Stamp the firework stamp in Blackberry Bliss under the larger firework on the Postcard. Stamp the small star image randomly all over in Blackberry Bliss.
3- Add the postcard to the front of the Thick Wisper White cardbase.

Adhere the Mason Jar die cut to the left side of the card with a glue dot over the center of the large firework.

Tie a small bow on one side of the 8” of twine. Then measure and cut enough to stretch across the neck of the jar. Adhere with glue dots on each end.
4- Using the Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Marker add ink to just the words “Oh, Summer Nights” then stamp in the center of a circle cut out. Add this near the top of the Mason Jar with dimensionals. Add the bow where the circle and twine meet.
5- Add the fireflies around / in the Mason Jar with a glue dot. Then add more glue dots under the fireflies and label to adhere the Mason Jar to the cardbase.

All Done!

Card #2
1- Cut out the firework stencil. Give a good size border around the image.
2- Add the small star stamp in Blackberry Bliss randomly on a card base from the Summer Night Add-on Kit.
3- Add the stencil firework to the right side of the card. Add the carnival die cut to the base with dimensionals.
4- Stamp the greeting on the 1 ½” Whisper White cardstock in Blackberry Bliss. Add at an angle to the card over the firework. Add a firefly with a dimensional to the right of the greeting.

All Done!
