A Unique & Versatile Design - Alternative Card using December 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Stampin' Up!

Welcome back to Creative Chelsey!

Today I’m sharing my first alternative for the December Paper Pumpkin Kit - Watercolor In Bloom. It is a clean and thoughtful card that’s perfect for expressing gratitude. This design highlights beautiful patterned paper, a bold sentiment, and just a touch of twine for texture. It’s simple, meaningful, and perfect for thank you cards, appreciation notes, or everyday happy mail.

I love cards like this because they let the sentiment take center stage while still feeling polished and handmade. This is also a great layout that you can replicate over and over again using any product.

How to Make This Card

1. Envelope Pattern

Cut the Envelope by removing the sides so you can lay it flat and the design is in the middle.

Cut the pattern at the bottom to 2-1/2” x 4-1/4". 1/2" should be below the folded edge and 2” above.

Add it to the top of the cardbase.

2. Add the Bottom Patterned Layer

Cut the Navy with Green Leaf Pattern Cardbase to 3-1/2" x 4-1/4".

Add it to the bottom of the cardbase.

3. Create the Greeting

Cut the White Oval Label in half at 1-1/2".

Stamp your greeting in Night of Navy with the straight edge at the top.

Add to the left of the card with the straight edge matching the top of the Navy with Green Leaf Patter piece.

4. Add the Strip

Cut a 1/4" x 4-1/4" Strip from the bottom of the Blue to Green Watercolor Cardbase.

Add it over the seam on the cardbase.

5. Finish with Twine

Tie a simple bow using 10” baker’s twine and adhere it just above the sentiment on the right  with a glue dot.

This small detail adds texture and a handmade touch.
