Turn The Envelope Into A Card - An Alternative Made With The July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. We have had so much for over the last week or so making beautiful Alternate Card Ideas with the supplies from the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sweeter With You.

The cards in this kit are so fun and bright with strawberry die cuts and fun patterns.  The kit includes everything you need to make 8 cards, 2 in 4 different designs.

For my tenth & last alternative I using the envelope that comes in the kit along with the stamps & the coordinating add on dies.

If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and make the original cards visit this playlist -  https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL40dV1oxpkNnkftKat7y5RtamwxGnoud6

Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. A full supply list is below or on my blog – www.creativechelsey.com

I also want to mention the amazing perks you can receive when you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me as your demonstrator. With every Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set & Ink Spot sent, I design a card and mail out my very own card kit to my subscribers so they can make two of my exclusive card design. These cards so fun and show new ways to use stamps & ink. We also meet once each month to make the card together, chat & have fun.

*PLUS I have joined with other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators to design 7-10 more alternative ideas in a PDF Tutorial (includes photos & instructions). My subscribers receive this PDF Tutorial along with an Exclusively Designed Card Kit, all for FREE! If you would also like to receive this extra perk, sign up for paper pumpkin using the link below and make sure to select me as your demonstrator.

Basic Beige Cardstock – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Basic Black Cardstock - scraps for die cutting

Envelope (kit)

Small Blue Label (kit)

1- Open up the envelope by trimming the folded sides off. Then Trim the front to 4” x 5 ¼” and add it to the front of the cardbase.

2- Trim the Pattern Flap from the Envelope down to 4”. I placed the top of the curve at 2” and cut, then flipped the straight edge (I just cut) to 4” and cut again. This helped me get an even shape with the scalloped curve edge. Add it to the center of the White on the cardbase.

3- Add a strip of Balmy Blue Cardstock at the top of the Envelope Pattern piece.

4- Cut out a large greeting in Basic Black Cardstock. I used the Hello in the Circle of Season Dies and added Adhesive Sheet to the back before cutting. Add it to the center of the card between the Balmy Blue strip & Pattern piece.

5- Stamp five Strawberries in two different red or pink colors on the back envelope piece (white), I used (3) Poppy Parade & (2) Melon Mambo. Then stamp 5 Leaves in Garden Green ink and cut out with the coordinating dies or fussy cut.

6- Add these down the left side of you cardbase with dimensionals.

7- On the Back of the Blue Small Label stamp your greeting in Memento Black ink and add below the large greeting with dimensionals.

All Done!

I have also created a video walking you through each step.
