Sheetload of Cards - May 2024 - Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper & Easy Way To Tie a Double Bow

Today, I am sharing my set of cards made with the May 2024 Sheetload Of Cards Template created by Alisha, of Call Me Crafty Al. With the template this month you can make 8 handmade cards with 2 sheets 12” x 12” pattern paper.

I wanted to keep these cards nice a simple with a large greeting & a fancy bow. I like how these two elements don’t over power the beautiful patterns in the paper. The greeting is from a retired set called Seriously The Best. It is one of my favorites when I need a nice large sentiment.


The bow is made with the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon. It is a double bow and really easy to make.

1- Take 24" of Ribbon in your hand and start with about 5" of ribbon as a tail holding it with your thumb against your middle finger. Stretch you pointer finger and middle finger to create the width of the bow.


2- Wrap both fingers with ribbon, two times. Ending with the ribbon on the same side as the loose end.


3- Continue with the same end you used to wrap around your fingers and thread it through the opening below the wrapped ribbons.


4- Pull it behind the wrapped ribbons. You will see a small look on top of your thumb. 


5- Fold the end over your thumb and, thread it through this small loop. You will go from the bottom to the top of the loop only.


6- Pull tight and adjust to be in the center of the bow. All Done!
