I am so excited to introduce Amy Novicki as my Creative & Company Team Showcase Stamper for this month. She wanted to work with the Adventurous Sky Bundle, which includes the stamps set & coordinating Adventurous Sky Dies. These images are perfect for Father's Day and any other time of the year.
I love the cards she created and am excited to share them with you here.
For her first card she designed a thank you or anniversary card. She used Blender Pens on the New Basic Beige Cardstock. The beige background works so well for a masculine card like this. She also used the coordinating Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper, which inspired her to use this fun sentiment from the Thoughtful Expressions Stamp Set, "Where in the world would I be without you?" I think it works so well as the sentiment for this card!
For her second card she made the background by adding two colors of ink to a Clear Block size E. Then spritzed it with a bit of water and stamped it on Watercolor Cardstock. She has a great tip to keeping the edges clean - Put Washi Tape around the edges before stamping the ink to the paper. Give this technique a try on your next card. The plane is colored with Blender Pens on Basic White Cardstock.
I love how she kept her third design very simple with Stamps, Ink, & Paper. I love the stamped clouds in the background and the repeated planes in three different colors. The sentiment is from an online exclusive stamp set Sweetly Scripted. You can try this layout with so many different images!
For her fourth card she used the Brayer to ink up the So Swirly Embossing Folder before embossing the cardstock, which gives this amazing look to the background. I love how adding ink really makes the embossed pattern pop.
For Amy's last card she wanted to use the coordinating Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper in the fun layout. I love how the layout creates a base for the focal point bringing attention to both the map and the plane. When creating the Plane in Dies she used the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper for the accent pieces. It looks so great!
Thanks so much Amy for these beautiful cards you made. They give us great inspiration for fun new ways to use the Adventurous Sky Bundle.
Here are some of the products Amy used to create her cards. (this is not a full supply list)
Have a creative day,
Chelsey
