Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my first alternative idea using the July 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Fun In The Sun.
This fun & summery kit creates 9 handmade FUN FOLD cards. There are enough supplies to make three of each card. What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit along with some other products and create different or alternative projects. Today I am sharing with you a Quick and Easy Card with a clever technique to cover up those score lines.

1- From the Pale Blue Cardbase remove the Azure Afternoon and Crumb Cake section. I do this I make two horizontal cuts along both the top & bottom score lines. Make sure to stop at the vertical cut line. You don’t want to cut all the way through the cardbase.
2- Emboss this piece with your choice of embossing folder. I used the Stripes from the Stripes & Splatters. I also wanted the texture to be a little less deep, so I rubbed my bone folder on the back of the piece to flatten it a little.
3- Cut the Umbrella Die Cut to 3 ½” so it is the same width as the Azure Afternoon and Crumb Cake piece. Add it to the bottom of this piece with dimensionals. Then add everything to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals.
4- Stamp your greeting on the Small Banner with Azure Afternoon ink. I chose “Waving Hello”. Add this to the right side of the card with dimensionals.
5- Add 3 Sequins from the kit.
