Counting Sheep Stamp Set & Dies - Interactive Spinning Wheel Birthday Handmade Card - Stampin' Up!

For today’s card I wanted to showcase some of the Sale-a-bration items. The Counting Sheep Stamp Set and Sheep Dies are both some of these products. I love how cute the Sheep Stamps are and how easy the Dies make it to cut them out and the cute extra shapes you can add to really step up your projects. I have also made more cards with these products, you can check them out below.

I hope you enjoy this handmade card tutorial and come back for more. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! You can tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at chelsey@creativechelsey.com

1- Stamp three sheep in Memento Black Ink. Identify the shadow areas on the legs, face, ear with the Dark Smoky Slate Blend Marker. Then color in the areas with Light Smoky Slate Blend Marker to smooth out the shadow a little bit. On the wool – identify the shadows with the Light Smoky Slate Blend Marker and blend with the Color Lifter. Don’t do too much blending as it can make the Memento ink bleed. Cut out with coordinating dies.

2- Stamp three party hats in Memento Black Ink and use your choice of markers to color in. Cut out with coordinating dies. Adhere to each sheep with a glue dot.

3- Use the Cloud Shape Border Die and cut a stencil from Window Sheet. On the Pool Party piece create cloud shapes with Pool Party ink, a Blending Brush, and the cloud stencil. To do this place the stencil over the cardstock and lightly add ink with the blending brush just above the stencil. Then move the stencil to another area and repeat.

4- From the two pieces of Pear Pizzazz cut out “rolling hills” with the Curved Border Die. On the 1 ½” piece place the die from the bottom right corner curving to the top of the cardstock. On the 2” piece place the die from the bottom left corner curving to the top of the cardstock. Once cut, add a little blending to the top of each “hill” with a Blending Brush and Pear Pizzazz Cardstock. Then add the Grass Image randomly on the hills.

5- Cut out a Wheel from the Give It A Whirl Die Set from a Window Sheet. Place this over the Pool Party cardstock on the right side, make sure the wheel doesn’t go over the edges of the cardstock. Use a Paper Piercer (Take Your Pick Tool) and poke a hole from the center of the wheel through the Pool Party Cardstock. Add a Brad so the wheel will spin.

6- To stamp a greeting on the window sheet, use an Embossing Buddy to apply powder over the surface. Stamp the greeting in VersaMark on the window sheet, apply White Embossing Powder & heat. Also stamp a greeting on the larger “hill” in the top right area by repeating the same process.

7- Place the “hills” on the card with dimensionals. Add the larger one first. Make sure there is no adhesive in the area where the wheel will spin and that it can cover the center brad. Add the smaller hill over the larger one.

8- Cut out a fence, 2 clouds, and a sun with the Sheep Dies and cardstock. Add any color you want to enhance them with ink and a blending brush. Place the clouds and sun in the top left area in the sky and the fence (with adhesive only on the right and left posts) on the bottom left grass area. Place one of the Sheep behind the fence.

9- Adhere the other two sheep to the wheel making sure it can turn freely. All Done.
