Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin October 2020 - JOY TO THE WORLD - Alternative Christmas Handmade Card

Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today is my fourth alternative project using the October 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Joy to the World. This bold and beautiful Christmas Handmade Card is gorgeous. I love how the richness of the Cherry Cobbler color combined with the Black and White greeting, the gold accents, and the 3D flowers all work together.

I love creating alternative cards with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more videos as I continue to create with this month’s kit. I would love to see your finished creations that are inspired by this tutorial! 1- Open one envelope and trim to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. Add this to the front of your cardbase with liquid glue, make sure to smooth it out so you don’t get any bumps. Add the White embossed piece to the font with about 1” gap on the right.

2- Stamp your greeting in VersaMark on your black label. Add white embossing powder and heat until shiny. Add the gold banner to the back of the label with dimensionals. Add this to your card about 1/3” way up.

3- Stamp the full flower image 3 times and just the flower 3 times in Memento Black ink. Use the Stampin’ Blend Makers to color in the image. You can switch the color of the inside and outside petals if you want. Fussy cut out the full flowers and cut around the small inside flowers.

4- Add the small flowers over the full flowers with a thinner dimensional. You can get a thinner dimensional by applying a full dimensional to the bottom layer or full flower, place your paper snips flat against the image and cutting the dimensional in half. Then add the small flower on top by adding a little liquid glue to the dimensional foam.

5- Place two flowers near the top of the label with one on top and one slightly under. Place the third flower under the bottom left corner of the label. Add three Gilded Gems.

All Done!
