Simple Fold & Layered Christmas Wreath Card TWO WAYS – November 2025 Wrapped In Cheer Paper Pumpkin Box

Welcome back to Creative Chelsey! Today I’m sharing a fun and festive Christmas card that combines a simple fold, soft textures, and a classic wreath focal point. This design is perfect if you love cards that look unique but are still easy to make—especially when using Paper Pumpkin pieces or coordinating supplies from your stash.

I love how the layered greenery wreath and oversized white bow instantly make this card feel special, while the soft plaid and striped accents keep everything balanced and cozy.

If you recreate this card, I’d love to see it! Be sure to tag me @creativechelsey or use #creativechelsey.

Below you’ll find the full step-by-step tutorial, measurements, and supplies so you can create along with me.

How to Make This Card

1. Prepare the Card Base

Splatter the front of your cardbase with a Dark Brown Color. I used the Dark Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend Marker.

Trim off 1/4” from the right edge on the front of the cardbase.

Adhere the 3/8” Gift Box Strip to the inside along the right edge, so you can see it from both front & inside the card.

2. Create the Center Panel

Trim the Tab from the Gift Box 3-1/8” x 3-7/8” piece at about 2-5/8”.

Flip the Tab to show the other pattern. One the back add Tear & Tape across the seam to hold the Tab in place.

Add this to the center of the Cardbase with dimensionals so the rectangle is green & the tab is plaid.

3. Add the Accents

Add the Red Striped Strip horizontally across the lower portion of the green panel about 1” from the bottom. Trim at an angle to the size you want.

Adhere the Old Olive Wreath to the center of the green panel using dimensionals.

Layer the white bow at the top of the wreath, also with dimensionals.

4. Add the Sentiment

Stamp “Merry Christmas” in Cherry Cobbler ink and trim closely around the greeting.

Add it around the wreath or below the strip with dimensionals.

5. Final Touches

If you have a fun embellishment like the Adhesive Backed Peppermints you can add them around the wreath.
