Two-Sheet Wonder Cards - Cards #5 & #6 using Well Suited Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

Hello My Crafting Friends,

Today I am excited to share with you this fun set of cards made with two sheets of Designer Series Paper. I made these to as a showcase projects for the Stampin’ Up 2021 Artisan Design Team!

These cute cards are made with two sheets from the Well Suited Designer Series Paper. I love how the floral images from the Always In My Heart Stamp Set contrast with the strong patterns from the DSP.  I hope you enjoy these projects and that they inspire you to create something new.

Card #5

1- Follow the Cutting Guide. You can cut both sheets of DSP at the same time. I recommend starting with the vertical cuts at 4”. This will give you 3 – 4” strips that you can then cut down to the size you need for each card. Keep the extra pieces in baggies so you don’t loose anything. When working with a pattern that is directional. Make sure when you cut the 3 – 4” sections that the top of the pattern is at the top of your Paper Trimmer.

2- Add a piece of Foil Sheet, I used Silver on the left side of the larger 3 1/4" DSP piece. I wanted about 1/8" showing from underneath. Then add the 3/4" to the left of the cardbase and then the larger piece on the right.

3- Decorate with coordinating stamps, greeting & dies. Use vellum to help the images stamp out against the DSP.

(Repeat for a second card of #5)

Card #6

1- Place the larger piece on the right side of the cardbase with a nice border around the top, right, & bottom. Add the smallest piece to the left with the edges touching & matching the top edge with the larger piece. Add the medium piece to the bottom.

2- Add Foil Sheet or ribbon across the cut line made by the smaller pieces. 

3-Decorate with coordinating stamps, greetings & dies

(Repeat for a second card of #6)
